  • This is probably the best camera angle for cockpit POV I've seen. Looks just like Flight Simulator.

    • Some early Citations had this automated checklist! I find it quite neat.

    • @@JessicaPilotGirl I feel like that would be really useful in any airplane - particularly in a single pilot situation. I often have my wife read the checklist to me when she flies with me. But when I'm alone or with a new passenger unfamiliar with aviation, I have to read the checklist myself. The call and response format of having the checklist read to you works so well.

Knew someone who had a citation and he let me go in the cockpit and try the checklist out. I tried a newer citation, and the auto checklist had a female voice instead. Very useful!

  • You missed the checklist response to "Pressurization", that could result in catastrophic consequences. There's no indication that this is not the first flight of the day, so to hear a very poor before takeoff briefing was alarming. If it's not the first takeoff of the day for the two of you, you should give a more thorough briefing, not just "standard abort procedures", and include engine failure procedures, at a minimum. I didn't hear a confirmation of the takeoff runway. Yes, there's only one there that I can see, but it needs to be a habit on all takeoffs. Please remember that other pilots viewing this video look up to you guys in the more advanced aircraft and they are going to be emulating your actions. Don't teach them bad habits.

    @r.d.boschung8374@r.d.boschung83749 ай бұрын
    • 1. They did check pressurization after take off (where it really matters anyway) 2. They are typed rated with recurring training. They can brief the takeoff / however they want so long as it’s briefed. They know what to do they’ve done it multiple times a year in sim training 3. Are you type rated on a citation? Or anything for that matter?
