  • Classic hull shape, of my absolute favourate boat. I can hear the burrble of the massive marine engine, and visualise the wake left by the blade of a hull. Something that looks/sounds stunning. And if it looks and sounds right - the universe is often correct! Works right. Never seen any hull design that looks better on any other boat, in my 58 years of life, fell in love first time I saw it. Nice job.

  • Not bad result from what you had to work with. Personally I wouldn’t use bamboo skewers as I could see a whole heap of frustration with the glue breaking away as it only has a small surface area to adhere to. Also some wooden strips could be varnished to look like a real Chris Craft. Regardless, you did a great job and gave me some ideas for the future. 👍🇦🇺

  • Does cutting the bamboo after gluing it to the frame cause much damage when you make the cuts? Would it be worth the time to cut to length before gluing?
