Little ones teach us to slow down and be in the moment and trust that everything will happen when it needs to. These are the most precious years of parenthood and you manage to capture the lovely moments of childhood - your children will be balanced and stable adults someday! Over the years, I have seen such a transformation in your chateau and land which has happened thoughtfully and beautifully. You have a lovely channel and lovely family and all will be well. I think you are Amazing Amy and Marvellous Marc!
That’s an extremely kind and thoughtful comment, thank you. It means a lot. X
Indeed, I wish I had said that! :) ❤
Wisteria looks amazing, Kudos to Didier for getting the cement pipe to where you need it. If i could make only one wish, I’d wish for every child to have such loving and wonderful parents as you and Marc. I also wish for you Amy, some well deserved sleep. Feel better soon, bisous a tous.
Aw thanks! Amazingly we might finally have worked out what was wrong and how to fix her sleep!
@@Chroniclesofrosieres oh, I hope so! Sleep deprivation is rough.
Poor Amy - that illness sounds dreadful. You have all my respect and admiration. Amazing work with tractor and enormous pipe! Heart-stopping to watch.
Thanks Ellen. It wasn’t too bad and is nearly over now thankfully!
Amy, if you have a poured concrete slab anywhere you can sand the back of the mold by rubbing it gently without too much pressure and a circular motion over the concrete. I do that when the molds have first hardened after being poured. Definitely nail biting along with you as the tank was tractored to its new site. Just wow!
That’s a fantastically useful tip - thank you!
Clement is such a sweet boy! 💓 Your tiles will be amazing, Amy! I am so looking forward to seeing them finished. Take all the time you need for another video--your children come first!💝
I'm so glad that you appear to be feeling better. Hang in there and try to rest. Not easy with little ones. HUGS TO EVERYONE! ❤ ❤
Such a productive video! Piggies, roosters, septic tanks, plans for a leeching field, and the anticipation of tiles. Fabulous. Have a Healthy week.
Clement was at his cutest in this episode ❤
Amy, did you get a haircut? Even though you had a difficult weekend, you’re looking great today. Isn’t it nice that Clement can express himself now, and take himself in for a nap? And Juliette is adorable! As always. I’m always impressed with your patience: with the tiles, the kids, and with getting out videos for us all to enjoy. Good job❤
Aw thanks! I had my hair highlighted by Annalise a few weeks ago!
Annalise is a genius ❤❤❤
Dear Amy, that is a painful illness for you to get. I hope you feel better soon. Your plaster mold looks really good. I hope it’s a huge success. The children are so beautiful. I hope you can move into the stunning coach home soon. It looks like it will make life easier for you with the children. That heavy cement well and the precariously steep slope are not an ideal match, but your friend seemed to have confidence that he would get it to where it needed to be. So glad it made it without a mishap. Feel better and sending you a hug. xx
You are so patient with your kiddos. This vlog had it all, lovely animals, beautiful wisteria, adorable children and nail biting adventure moving the cement “pipe” and creative tile work. Hope you a feeling better, the sunshine should help. Looking forward to Friday!
wisteria is gorgeous. Kudos to Didier for getting the cement pipe where Marc needs it. Love the tile design and I admire your dedication to getting them done. Clement and the cat napping in their tents was off the charts adorable. Juliet will be talking soon. I get a kick of watching all the animals follow you around. Looking forward to the next vlog 😍😘
Poor Juiliette she is such a dolly. Clemon is quite the helper too! I pray you feel better Amy.
Thankyou Amy; hope you feel better soon xxx
I was groaning and holding my breath along with you the whole time your neighbour was moving that concrete pipe!
Whoa! That was nerve-wracking watching the concrete well casing get moved. I kept holding my breath for fear it would fall off. Thank heavens for good neighbors.
Same I had to fast forward, I just envisioned Marc loosing his toes…
I completely agree with your desire to have every bathroom look different. Other chateaux have chosen to do all bathrooms alike; assuredly easier and more efficient, but quite bland. I also admire your wisteria, as it generally won't grow here. There's a new cold-hardy one that might be worth exploring. Bravo on getting the well pipe down the hill!
Thanks Lisa! I’m afraid I don’t follow much of what goes on elsewhere but I’ve always loved buildings full of diversity and curiosity. Maybe a little bit Alice in Wonderland! These great, historic buildings are meant to fascinate, dazzle, intrigue and amaze. Actually something done very well at Lalande.
"Are my sound effects helping?" - I laughed out loud!! I do the same thing. Didier is one brave man! It's exciting that you've got one more piece of the water puzzle in place. I hope everyone is feeling better now! Looking forward to the next video!
The kids are always so adorable, it makes me smile when you share sweet moments. Sorry you caught the germs - I know that all too well as someone who worked with kids and a weak immune system. Get well soon.
What a star Didier is!! I expect there was un petit vin being poured in his honour!! The tile blank is looking fab and the children as cute as ever l💜
I hope you feel better. I'm sorry the plague carriers got you. Marc, very kind of you not to shock the kids.
Hahaha, plague carriers....hahahaha. Love it. 🤣
Such a lovely, lovely family....so natural. I do hope you'll be feeling better soon Amy and you all catch up on your sleep. Your tile making is something to behold Amy! My goodness, Clemente is becoming such a little man and it's so heart warming watching him work beside you. Such a cute shot of Clemente asleep in his tent. Thank goodness for good neighbours with tractors! Your baby girl is gorgeous!
This was just what I needed this morning. I'm amazed at the process of getting that pipe down there. Well done. Feel better, Amy. Looking forward to Friday. 🥰
I hope you are all feeling much better now Amy.😘 Your tile imprint will look really great cannot wait to see the result of them.. Oh my bit scary with the tractor and the heavy pipe. Well done for the tractor and driver for conquering an epic destination phew👋👋 .Loved watching😘
Wow what a job moving the water tank!! The mold is beautiful, can’t wait to see your pieces!! 🎉🎉🎉
Brilliant idea to save your tile molds for future sales. That has potential for significant source of income. I love the way you and Marc are always thinking of the future.
Get well soon. The tile pattern is so lovely and its definitely not easy trying to do anything with young children around, but somehow us Mums and Grandma's do manage. That looked so difficult getting that tank down there, I had to hold my breath a couple of times watching it. The children are growing beautifully an look like they have a wonderful life playing with all the animals. Thank you both 💕🇦🇺
The perfection of tiles will make them unique to you, your craft ship. One of a kind. 😊 The wisteria absolutely magnificent on the side of the building. Great job Marc! So sorry to hear that you received such horrible illness from children. Amy as for your progress with tiles. Please you and your family needs have to come first always! Please never apologize for this. This is the way it needs to be. Thank you very much for all your hard work.
Nice video. It looks so pleasant to be working outside at this time of year. Sorry you have been sick. Hopefully it won't last
Already nearly better thanks!
"A civilised way of drawing on the walls". Charming description!
That looked a bit scary 😮 I’m glad it didn’t fall off 🙃
Sorry you got the dreaded lurgie. I hope you are better, and that your energy will return! I never thought I would be so charmed by a wee boy asleep in a tent! And how impressive was Didier!
Now that's a daunting task ahead but I am so confident Marc will make it happen & it will be a great success. Amy...your tiles are going to look fabulous with your handmade beautiful design. ❤
I just love this vlog, such a natural, happy family living the dream. I can't wait for Friday!
truly exciting watching didier maneuver his tractor w the 1 ton well casing
This was such a amazing video. Loved each little moment with the children and the animal family, especially piggy. So glad the large cement "cauldron" made it down the hill. That made me hold my breath! Whew. I do wish you health, dear one, you have a full life and I've always admired you.
Thank you that’s very kind.
I was holding my breath when Mark was walking behind the tractor carrying the well. I was so worried the tractor would flip over. Take care and stay safe. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
Your animals love you...and Clement is a busy boy full of curiosity!
Your patience while Clemont was pounding clay ….. and then the sweet kiss. Oh how I loved that😘
I love your little family! It was precious watching Clement sleep & Juliette giving instructions to the tractor driver. Even the turkey seemed nervous about the tractor as it sounded like it said oh no during the gobbling. ❤
😂 you’re right the turkey has an opinion on everything!
I was on edge the whole time and now I'm smiling. Bravo to Didier. Congratulations Amy for creating your own tiles.
Awesome video.looking forward to the rest of the tile project
Wish you all a speedy revovery. So lovely to see your chateau springing into life. Can't wait to see your video on Friday, exciting time!
What an undertaking. God bless the man on the tractor!!
The wisteria and blossoming trees are lovely! I really did hold my breath as the tractor inched and swayed down the hill! It will be so nice for you to have more water. Thanks from WA state for another fascinating vlog.
Your channel gets the award for the best intro!
Lovely video Amy🥰
Thank you!
Foot and mouth disease is painful! My girls had blisters on their feet and still did their ballet classes in pointe shoes..I don’t know how they did it! That cat is so cute and amazing that she and the birds were so calm around each other!😊
Oh your poor girls that must have been agony! Thankfully mine didn’t reach my feet!
Heart = Mouth……….oooh…..that was some manoeuvre of the pipe! Amy I love your comments. God bless all xx
Wow! Moving that pipe was a challenge…great job by all.. Loving the tile design..you are clever Amy… x Dottie
Thanks Dottie!
So sorry Amy! I've had that too. Horrible. All is progressing nicely. You need more rest! Motherhood is not for wimps, Your Son is so precious. Thanks for sharing💕
Clement is so cute! Juliette is trying to talk, little sweetie. Love your menagerie of pets, piggy can eat all the bread with not being pork on a fork. 🇨🇦❤️
This was such a wonderful video. Enjoy watching the process and everything unfolding so beautifully at the Chateau. Amy, you are so gifted with so many talents, a true artist, and such an amazing Mom. In America this Sunday is Mother's Day, so wishing you Happy Mother's Day! And feel better soon! ♥
Oh Amy so glad you survived, now try to get some sleep 💤 Spot the pig needs a name and a girlfriend! He is so gorgeous. Watching you and Clement was a magical moment. Well done Marc for getting that thing/concrete out of your car hope the suspension is ok 😮
I always get a kick out of the chicken (or whatever it is) that is running after Marc on his digger 😁
What amazing tractor work!! That is a very nice neighbor. The wisteria is beautiful and you’re very lucky.
Lovely catch up! Can’t wait til Friday ❤
That was really scary taking that polo mint down....the wisteria looks beautiful..hope you all have a speedy recovery and you are back to normal soon xx
Your children are so precious and sweet. I have been going back and watching old episodes (which are a delight) and it is so fun to see Clement and Juliette develop into the wonderful people they are becoming. Clement looks just like Marc when he was sleeping in his tent!
I really enjoy your channel, so natural and informative. I always feel like I've just popped in for a visit to see what Amy and Mark are up to. Sorry to hear you caught the children's virus, hopefully it will resolve quickly. Again, thank you for your lovely vlogs❤
The Chateau grounds are looking stunning. A really lovely Vlog. Thank you 😊 ❤
So love your honesty, you and Marc are superb. Never worry we won’t ever forget you and will keep watching 💕🥰😍❤️
So much progress!! Both of you enjoyed a lot of “help” but your helpers are more adorable!❤😂 At first was hopeful Marc’s help was the equipment you have been waiting for to move the stone!
How lucky you are with good neighbours. One day those beautiful children will be teenagers with attitude and then you’ll be grandparents in no time at all. 😊
Marc and Amy you have such precious little kiddies. Clement and Juliette are both so loving and curious. Your patience and hands on approach is teaching them valuable traits that will serve them well in their futures.🥰
Thank you that's very kind of you to say!
Good job on the new well! Oh love all the animals! You can train your pigs you know. They are super intelligent. When I had 2 they just roamed the land freely. They always were around us, like the dogs untill they went to piggy heaven. You making tiles makes me want to make them myself, such tiles are getting into fashion again by the way and you are right, there are not many tile makers, a good income for the future :-) Making a master for each tile is handy for if you damage one of your tiles. That master tile you can use in a selfmade wooden press with height precision, that way they will be the same height. And you will have one to safe for your own archive. Who knows in 200 years someone wants a few added and can use it. Just romancing about tiles huh.
Great idea! I should definitely make and store master tiles!
Poor you ! I hope you are feeling better soon. Rough times with illness this year for all of you….take your vitamins ! ❤
wow! Give that man a Medal!
Your slight obsession with the tiles lol will look marvellous, can't wait for the end result.
OMG Amý that sounds awful! Never heard of it. Hope you feel so much better soon. YAY!!! Slow but steady and the tractor and Didier wins the day. Oh boy, oh boy, can't wait!!!
Wishing you healing dear Amy. That disease sounds dreadful. I thought it was a thing of the past. Didier deserves a large bottle of Marc's family's wine after that move 🍾🍷😂. Great job was done by all the procession. Look forward to Friday's video.
I especially enjoyed the tile making bit , they are going to be gorgeous . Feel better 😘 .
What a fantastic video! Really enjoyed the explanation for the tile making process and all of your wonderful creativity. And what a precarious journey down the uneven slope with the concrete pipe. You guys are amazing and incredibly ambitious!
So glad you are well now and feeling yourself again Amy - thanks for the lovely video
You need adopted grandparents to stay for 2 to 3 months at a time for free to help out and be in a beautiful place in France. Preferably people who are tradesmen or at least handymen. Australian or Kiwi people who can turn their hand to anything with a camper van! Wouldn’t that be a dream? You never know, they might be out there watching you and Marc. ❤
i was holding by breath watching the tractor he is a very skilled driver
He’s amazing! I was quite surprised it worked.
Looking forward to a treat ! Well done with the amazing work that you both take on. What wonderful weather your experiencing. WCL
It's always a pleasure to see you! I hope that you are feeling much better. Don't worry about the slow pace. I am glad that you are putting your children first. Keep up the great work!

These moments shared with you while making some couture, was so nourishing. Thank you for sharing. All that nature , family life around you and your calming voice❤❤❤
Amy, you and Marc rock! No mater what you are doing.
You’re very kind!
Wow! That was quite frightening. I was scared for all of you. Thank goodness none of you got hurt in the process. 5/2/24 Panama City, Florida. I'm really enjoying your program very much.

Excellent driving skills. I think the tiles will look stunning x
The wisteria is stunning. As always, a fun video. 👏👏
So glad Marc has gotten some much-needed assistance from neighbor:) And yes, Friday night it is!
Absolutely, your sound effects help enormously in all precarious , heavy lifting tasks Amy. 😆
I knew it!
I dodged that HFM bullet when my daughter had it. Glad you're better!
With the changing world economies and financial and defenses the newer 'dark age' would be very well thought out by you and Marc.
❤Bless your hearts love and Healing be yours take very great care of yourself /selves
I feel your pain Amy. I caught that once too. I was quite surprised when the doctor told me as I don't have children! Must have touched something that was contaminated. It was painful and quite nasty to look at.
I love Juliet's opinions!
Just the cutest
Loverly family video 🤗💐🍷🍾🍷🤗 hope you are feeling better Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Juliet is adorable
