Sid, over time actually seems to slowly become human. Corey's keeps becoming more human as well, with the last being a burn mask... almost close to being fully healed!

Joey's masks have always been my favorites, followed by Clown's, and Micks. I loved Paul's original pig mask too. Rest in Peace, Paul and Joey, may your legacies be legendary.

A couple of things. Corey's first mask was an altered, "Crash Test Dummy", not a, "bondage mask". Also, Jay's mask had a star on the forehead, with 9 points on it. A, "pentagram", is exactly what it says. Penta means five. It would be a pentagram if it were a 5 pointed star. However, it is a 9 pointed star, obviously symbolizing the number of members in the band. Other than that, this is great 😊.
Mick’s mask was so legendary to me as a kid. I loved the intimidating look. It matched the music so well to me.

Corey's subliminal versus mask has always been my favorite. Up until now his new revealed mask for the "we are not your kind tour" also created by savini i believe i heard. That has a big alien vibe imo. Joey has always been my favorite member. His drumming blew my mind from day 1 and has been my biggest inspiration along side gene hoglan, me wanting to play the drums. Joey's final thorn mask is my favorite version.
I think I would put Corey's All Hope Is Gone mask *just* over the Sub Verses, but you're spot on about Joey's drumming. He was a modern John Bonham/Keith Moon and not really discussed as such.
From what I've seen, Corey's new mask is supposed to resemble a burn victim's mask and is supposed to symbolize healing, as he's pretty much conquered his depression

I have always loved Mick's horror style mask!! I also liked Corey's mask when it had the dreadlocks too.
Now, when they said "Meaning", I thought they meant an actual meaning. When Iowa came out, I had friends telling me that their masks had actual meanings behind them. I honestly can't remember them all, but I was told that Corey's represented Sickness and Mick's represented something to do with dark clouds. Wish I could remember them all now.

The whole mask story is a lie. They didn't have the look and stage performance until Roadrunner signed them. The Masks, Jumpsuits, Stage Drums, all are straight from Mushroomhead. I love Coreys mask. It gives him an Amon-Vibe from Avatar Legend of Korra, a scarred ringleader that appeals to the masses, while still showing some of his truth trhough the transparity of his mask.
The kabuki mask is haunting. I love it. It reminds me of bucket head, in the way that it’s emotionless and never-changing. Though of course we know, BH never changes. And from what I am seeing, neither does the intensity of Slip Knot. I was never a huge fan, and considered them over rated. As I grow older, I understand.
My mind is more like, "How comfortable are these masks?"

I love how Mick's mask never really changed. It fits him perfectly. But, my favorite mask will always be Pinocchio Also, I liked Corey's new mask, the clear-ish one. I thought it looked pretty dope. Way different than what I'd expect him with, but I still liked it.
Corey's "The Gray Chapter" and "The end, so far" masks are awesome! Clown's Iowa mask was pretty cool too.

Really the entire group looked legendary during the all hope is gone album. Psychosocial music video is hard rock and metal at its peak. Rip Paul and Joey. Music is never the same because of those brilliant minds.

To my knowledge, Tom Savini didnt help design Coreys mask. The design was Coreys idea on its own, and thats why Tom didnt understand all the hate he got. As he put it himself, he simply just made exactly what Corey wanted.

This is kinda more of a historical view rather than their actual meanings in my opinion. - Craig Jones' mask means that you'll get hurt if you try to get "close" with him, so he has the needles to keep you away. - Shawn and Jim have masks that represent their personalities of a clown and a jester (A clown is more crazy and manianical, imagine a clown with bloodshot eyes. While Jim is the one to make you laugh like a jester that has to entertain his king). - Sids mask has something to do with breathing, maybe its a condition he has/had which is why he had a gas mask and a skull. - Paul's AHIG mask was just supposed to represent death. - Joey's mask was just supposed to show an empty or blank expression but the video still talked about his mask Everyone else's masks in the video are rather spot on

Joey Jordison was alive when Weinberg joined the band. The masks that they wore weren't bland out of respect. Clown said that the new guys tried to design masks and they didn't come up with good designs so the band just did it themselves.

I remember watching their first group interview and just thinking they all looked like different types of serial killers and monsters. You had your complete psychotic, unpredictable characters like Sid and Clown, the silent killers like Mick and Craig and Paul, the expressionless intimidation of James and Joey, and the obscene looks of Chris and Corey.

I always thought Mick's mask was the scariest, just because he is a huge hulking dude and it makes him look like a slasher flick monster. Sid's new mask for The End, So Far is awesome with a disembodied head sitting on the table that moves it's face and sings and stuff. It's wicked.
My favorite masks from the band are: Corey's Vol 3 mask - he mentioned it was inspired by Leatherface and TCM is one of my favorite movies Joey's AHIG mask - that thing just looked cool Sid's WANYK and TESF masks: both of his recent ones just look great, they're creative, and he clearly puts in a lot of work and thought into each mask. Nothing against the other members, just feel like Sid's creativity shines with his masks
I always looked at Slipknot masks like they were a mask a serial killer might wear. If you listen to the lyrics on MFKR and self titled it's very serial killer/horror vibes.
I really like Corey's latest mask, especially because of the negative reaction it got. He's playing a villain with it, and it's working. He did modify it so it fits better when singing, but lost some of that edge.

I think I read a few years ago that the zipper on Jim's older masks represents that he's quite when meeting new people. As he got more comfortable he wouldn't shut the hell up so the zipper was added to shut him up.

Coreys first mask wasn’t a bondage mask, it was a crash test dummy mask. He pulled his dreads through and eventually attached them to it. Proper Research should have easily shown that. Jim wore a bondage hood and pulled his purple hair through it but it did not fit in properly so he ditched it

Stone sour wasn't really Corey's side project, Slipknot was, as Corey had already established Stone SOur before joining Slipknot, they just hadn't made it big.
