  • Chinese govt. conservation efforts remind me of US Dept of Forestry. A scientist broke his core drill on a Bristlecone Pine, so to get its age he just sawed it down, since it was small. Then he counted the growth rings, and found he'd just killed the oldest tree in the world.

    • They evolve? xD Predation breeds new mechanisms but unfortunately, humans tend to breed in useless traits for survival in captivity. Also, many other animals on this planet eat meat and they do indeed and quite literally eat anything that walks crawls or flies on the planet. The only problem is humans are SO successful at eating due to being omnivorous, we do it too well. Humans predating deer as an example; the deer are smart enough to slowly adapt to human hunting laws lmao. Smart deer move at dusk and eat during the wee hours and science proves this is an adaptation to avert humans. If the world worked as in your viewpoint, entire ecosystems would collapse the same way due to lack of predation. Islands also have this quirk. Living on an island too long can actually cause your species to become dead and it happens more often than favorable mutation for island survival.

  • so disasters makes new species..... how do evolution know it happened??? weird how so many people laugh at church goers for "faith" cuz I see lots of faith thrown around all the time.

    • Evolution has nothing to do with this introduction of hybrid species. They will either live and reproduce in the wild or they won't. Educated people laugh at people who criticize better educated people out of the type of ignorance and irrational thinking you've just displayed.

    • Evolution isnt an entity, its a process. Every offspring is slighty different, if the changes make survival easier Then that new individual makes more babies, if not it perishes or makes less offspring. Over many many years changes acculmate in the population, that make new species that are suited to survive in different environments. This process is called evolution. Diasters and changes in the enviroment just decides which changes are advantageous, in a way the streeing wheel of evolution.

    • @@alwinalexis9533....again, that does not explain why when there are enormous disasters why we have an explosion of new species AND WITH NO TRIAL AND ERROR. Everything works right the first time every time. Which is not Darwins theory of evolution
