  • Why did you show Ann Margaret, then didn't show her.? Misleading!

    • It's what you call deceptive advertising. I don't like it either. Just be honest up front. Does anyone remember Ann Margrock on the Ed Sullistone show? Also, she is Santa Clause's mother-in-law.

  • That show was seen faithfully every week at my house. I watched the Beatles, I was 11 then. Other than that, there was A LOT of Topo Gigio, which stunk IMO.

    • Yes, and it was scandalous when the Doors were on! I was very young and I remember the outrage😅 - my love for Rock probably started that evening at around age 3, 4?? IDK how old I was? but to young for kindergarten. I was ushered out of the room for that episode....😅❤

  • I remember getting so bored and restless trying to watch that show waiting for people like the Beatles and Stones to show up on there as a kid in the 60s. The show was just not my cup of tea.

  • You segment about Sam Cooke is pure B.S. !!! Sam first appearance was on Sunday, Nov 3, 1957 & indeed, they DID run out of time & cut Sam's FIRST performance just as he launched into "You Send Me". Fortunately, contrary to your commentary, they indeed did "cross paths" again. On Sunday, December 1, 1957, Ed Sullivan issued an on-air apology, saying that they had done Sam "wrong" & that he had never received so much angry mail, he brought Sam out & Sam sang "For Sentimental Reasons". This has been well-documented, we've all seen the clip of Sam's second Sullivan appearance & for you to write something so dead wrong, suggests that you've copied your information from elsewhere & didn't both to fact-check information which is not only easy to find, but, also has been written about for DECADES. Clickbait, deceptive captions are bad enough, it's exacerbated when you get simple facts wrong. I despise people who have to resort to outright lies because they only care about page hits. It's obvious that you have ZERO RESPECT for those who click on your clickbait crap. It's as unnecessary, as it is stupid & counterproductive to your cause. You have no way of knowing how many LEGITIMATE page hits you miss out on because the word about your tactics have gotten around. You may fool people once & if you do, you eon't get a chance to do it again. This is just plain sloppy & by the way, what follows is Sam & Sullivan "never crossing paths again". Keep up the not-so "good" work... kzhead.info/sun/m92QlK2GnnVqeX0/bejne.html

  • I remember very well . He was iconic, but obviously very prejudiced. He probably cost a lot of entertainers a future because once you were on his show you were on your way To fame. Today or until today unless you are a progressive left you can’t do anything unless it’s degrading Trump. It seems we’ve come full circle.

    • In the 60's, My youth, his show launched so many of the rock n rollers and country singers. Yes he could be a stick in the mud but the Beeatles, the Stones, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Etc owe a little boost to the show. Some show once and that was it for them. Jim MorrisonVexed him greatly by going against what he was instructed to NOT do.
