Dead at 85, Lee Radziwill Left Her Whole Fortune to Just One Person
Lee Radziwill, the free-spirited ex-princess who, like her older sister, Jacqueline Kennedy, was wealthy, ambitious, and of high social standing, recently passed at the age of 85. Lee lived a life constantly being squared against Jacqueline, who was President John F. Kennedy's wife and one of the most recognized ladies in the world. However, Lee was by herself an independent woman who was also a fashion star and global socialite who appeared on lists of the most well-dressed ladies for many years. Her interests in art, music, dancing, and poetry were well known, but she was mostly viewed as Jacqueline’s sister despite her exploits. So let's take a look at Lee's life, who all her wealth goes to now that she's passed, and all her accomplishments which were hidden behind her sister's shadow.

  • I met her in the late 80’s. She was elegant, classy and quite personable. She also is the subject of one of my more humorous interactions with the rich and famous….maybe I’ll write a book someday. RIP Princess Lee

  • Of course she left it to her daughter. Who else do you expect her to leave it to? If she left it to someone else, then there would be a story.

  • Informative and well done. I now have a logical understanding of the source for the disharmony between the sisters. I really believe that Jacqueline suffered an emotional breakdown after the amount of tragedy she endured. I'm glad that Lee found a niche and friends who were hers!

  • I think it was horrible she left her daughter when her daughter needed her. Lee's daughter lived with her Aunt, Jackie Kennedy. I think Lee Raziwill was selfish, self-centered. I didn't like the way she left a child like that. The rest is fluff.

  • I always thought Lee was far more beautiful than her sister, Jackie. Thier story is reminiscent to Princess Margaret and Queen Elizabeth. Living in the shadow of an older and more famous sister has no other place to go than jealousy. Who knows what would have happened if Jack had lived, and Onnassis had been out of the picture.

  • Ill never understand how any woman could find Aristotle attractive! Money doesnt patch up a mans faults enough to make him desirable! And being born famous and rich does not make a person an Icon! They had no idea what life on earth is really about.

  • She was a beautiful woman. She was a unique individual who did have her own life. Hurt many times she always picked the wrong mate. To be so deeply hurt by her own blood sister is something we never knew about spoiled heartless Jacqueline Wow shameful. I wish everything had gone to her daughter but she was even jealous of her Moms beauty . She made a good life for herself but no one can forget the mental and emotional pain that she felt. Her Dad was the first to omit her as he paid all attentions to her. Lee may you rest in peace. Heaven will be good to you!!!❤🙏❤️❤️
