We're back in Louisiana! Three years have passed since I met Skeeter Ray and we cooked Crawfish Cajun style with his secret recipe. The original plan was to catch and cook Nutria, also known as Swamp Rats. An invasive species from South America, introduced for their thick valuable fur.
In this episode we finally deliver on the promise, and meet Chalyn Perez of Paloma Lake who hooks us up with a hunting experience we'll never forget.

  • Idk why people find this disgusting? These animals are called Nutria. They are herbivores and are healthy. Squirrels, Capybaras, Guinea Pig, Beavers & Prairie Dogs are also hunted by humans and they are rodents too. Y'all have never tried real southern food before 🤌🏽🔥 I'm from Cali, but when i went to Lafeyette the food was EVERYTHING

  • I really appreciate the videos of Louisiana that have been coming out lately from content creators. This is one state that’s just so unique and usually isn’t the first place you think of when you think of content and KZhead but it’s such good content and good people and for once I’m starting to this shit hole i have lived in my whole life really isn’t that bad and when you get a view from the outside looking in, you gain a new appreciation for it.
