Well I'm sorry to say but the trailers made it very clear what kind of film it was, a PG-13 monster flick most people went to see the movie to see a giant shark do giant shark things. If you went into the movie expecting something realistic that's on you you could tell from the trailer is that there is nothing remotely realistic. For me it gave me what I wanted a B rated monster flick with A rated production. I mean come on it's a Megalodon movie.

    • Yes. The first movie made a lot more money than was expected. So of course we will get a part 2. There is also several more books by the same author of "The Meg" which continues the story. And of course expect a few more syfy channel movies on the subject to surface too. LOL

  • All of these are pretty much Great whites but a little bigger than usual it's a movie but in reality it's all a great white but bigger the Meg is pretty much the only movie that involves a real megalodon that lived before (might be still alive in Marina trench Divers only checked 3% of Earth waters) It's called mega shark not a megalodon movies that have the mega shark in it are only trying to compare it to the megalodon but the mega shark is only a few feet smaller (maybe more)
