Yeh that part was good but my favorite scene was when Jason statham is holding the sharks jaws from eating his friend. And then swims to the sharks side and does a suplex to arm bar on the Meg at 1200 meters under the Northern Atlantic

The only issue i think is that why does the meg wants to eat humans when it can eat much bigger fish while spending a fraction of energy.
because then there would be no movie about a megalodon no extinct
They're noisy and irritating. We've also decimated a lot of prey.

it didn't, it wasn't ramming, it was biting at something next to it.

It wasn't exactly just chilling out off to the side waiting for some to bite, it was swimming full speed towards the woman climbing up the side, when she got out of the water it would have hit the boat.
@@Halo2nothing11111 it wasn't trying to slam into the person, it was trying to eat them. it never intended to smash it's face into the boat. it did actually bump it a bit, you can hear it. think of it like a cat rushing up grabbing a mouse. there was never an intention to charge THROUGH the target.
@@baneblackguard584 Intent is irrelevant, it was a large mass moving towards another large mass. This isn't a human slamming into a building we're talking about, it's a giant shark slamming into a boat in the water. It's not going to make a thud, it's going to shake and push the boat at least a foot to the side. Everybody onboard would have felt it, and the woman climbing up the side would have had to hold onto the ladder for dear life or she'd have fallen back in.
@@Halo2nothing11111 it didn't slam into the boat. not sure why you keep saying that. it wasn't trying to slam into the boat. it was trying to grab the person. and yes aquatic animals (sharks included) are very skilled at rushing up to something and stopping or quickly changing the directions.

I mean she probably has train for drastic scenarios like she dove into the trench know her friends got hit by something down their so the best thing to do is not panic but think rationally about the situation and having the best possible communication with the team
Plus she was losing air and panicking only exhausts the body more causing you to struggle to panic in a outburst like manor

Jason Statham is like a torpedo. Oh man I really love shark movies. They're cheesy but that's the beauty of it all.
I can never take Statham seriously since watching the Sharmin and Erasure videos. Slay kweeeen!

The script is so bad... The Pa force a Meg can deliver will break the polymer plastic glass & also the trauma that one gets from the cage when hit by a Panther tank... It's lazy screen writing. I remember the entire thing, like it's written by babies. Because its fantasy its fine...But should we encourage bad writers...Also it's funded by Chinese

That distant shot of the cage to show how tiny it is in the vastness of the sea is great! That theme should've been continued when the meg attacked. Instead we get the usual closeup nonsense where you can't figure out what the heck you're looking at?!

That cage moved a lot with the 8ft sharks. That seems like a red flag. Also "it's not safe for you" came from someone who was nearly swallowed by a meg. There's no safety left 😂 But it's a cool scene, the visuals are amazing!

The critics love using the term "it doesn't take itself to seriously." THIS is a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. That's what makes it enjoyable.

I mean, the movie is full of impossibilities, it's still great fun, but I just hate how someone can be hit square in the chest with a several ton crane being swung around by an even greater fish, and survive. There should be no torso left.
