Thailand lies at the heart of Indochina. It’s a melting pot for wildlife from across the region. Tigers still roam, maintaining the status quo as apex predator, and Assamese Macaques live in large troops to avoid such threats. The range of wildlife here creates great biodiversity but also presents huge challenges. Thailand is a land with extreme environments and remarkable creatures; they all play their part in maintaining the balance of their worlds.

  • From the scene with the deer + tiger, the stupid bugs, then the competition of the trees....we can consistently hear in the background the sounds of ... THE GIBBON!!!!! 🙂 And I CANNOT wait. If you don't LOVE Gibbons, you haven't watched them enough. They're THE BEST freaking climbers; beautiful. Sweet! even ...

  • Sadly most of Thailands forests have been cut down for agriculture and timber, only a few pockets of unspoiled jungle remain

    • Seems to be the commonality All over the world. Only four percent of Old growth redwoods remain in California Madagascar and mexico almost entirely gone rain forest is amazing but lots of bugs bite and leeches as well Tucson Arizona Sonoran desert 🏜️🌵☮️🌞🍄🍄🍄🌍🔥🌲

  • People say I look like a Cross between Christopher Robbins and a gibbon 🕊️🍄🍄🍄🌍☮️🔥🏜️🌞🏜️ Tucson Arizona Sonoran desert yes I keep on keeping on. I Saw a gibbon on a chain in Thailand was there 1982 long before Phuket was hit by the tsunami 🌊

    • Of course,a snake can easily eat a gibbon!! In fact, just a few years ago,one woman was eaten by a snake when she went to check her maize farm, which was being attacked and therefore destroyed by wild boars during the night!!
