These oakywood small acessories are SUPER EXPENSIVE! Bro like come on, only the tech KZheadrs who get these for free can have these. almost $ 100 for a charger, come on!
not everything is meant to help those who can't afford it. if you do have the money and want to spend it on something great, shouldn't you have content that suggests the right things?
you dont have to buy.. it..
I had the same issue with the mouse! I recommend you to rest your hand over it, and it will fit perfectly. Also, I recommend you to make movements with the full arm.
Simple, clean, useful and well designed! One of the best desktup videos I've ever seen
Thank you very much, that's high praise 🙏
the links for AU is a rare sight, appreciate your insight & setup updates.
Can't forget about the Aussies. Thanks for watching 🙏
The Lego Ornithopter looks so good! Very impressive! And an amazing setup once again 👏👏
Yeah the Ornithopter is really cool. Glad you enjoyed the setup!
When the entire video is one giant advertisement
Very nice ideas! I have switched to a finger trackball. This has eliminated the pain in my "clicking" finger. For ergonomic typing, I got a Dygma Defy with Kailh Box White switches. Takes some getting used to, but well worth it!
I use the Logitech MX ergo trackball. So comfy
That's a great combo! I've always wondered if I could get used to the trackball and split keyboard.
@@TerryX_ This part is very easy. Takes a bit of getting used to with the ortholinear layout and the move of the shift to the thumb buttons, for example 😉.
The mx vertical is GREAT I've been using it for 2 years (give or take) for my work setup, can be used wired or wireless w/dongle (idk if it can be connected straight to your computer's bt). When I switch to my personal pc I kinda miss it. I'm gonna get the smaller version just to check out the differences and test it for gaming and using other non-work software
Damn, your wrists must be in great shape. Yeah, I'm enjoying it so far. And it can connect directly via bluetooth. Let me know how you go with the smaller version. Personally I found it was a bit too small for my hand
I saw the drone from Dune... fantastic toy collection!
Thanks!
Very impressive setup Dude
Thanks 🙏
@@TerryX_ Your Welcome Mate
Love it!
Glad you do!
What do you do with the rest of the lighting
Very professional. 😎
Thanks!
That spacebar has some ticking, can you lube it
Where is the shelf behind your setup from?
🖥👌 Thoughtful and sleek desk setup! 🌟
Thanks! Glad you like it
How did you attached the tabletop to the standing desk frame? I think it's some treaded inserts, are they used with bolts? Did they come with the kit or buy them separately?
You're absolutely right, those are thread inserts. I had to pick them up from the hardware store because the legs came with a tabletop that had pre-installed inserts. The thread inserts are pretty easy to install though, just need to pre-drill a hole and then screw the inserts in.
Thanks for posting the links 🎉🫡
No problems, hope it helps 🫡
Great Video and love the asthetics! You have both a Mac and a PC, are you running a KVM, or manually swapping out USB-C Ports to run the displays. I have watched a few of your videos, but I have not seen how you are handling this yet.
So the keyboard and mouse both have in-built functions that allow them to switch between multiple devices. So to switch between the PC and MacBook, I need to click a button on the keyboard and mouse. For the displays, the MacBook is plugged into the dock while the PC is plugged into the displays directly. When I turn one of the devices off, the displays have a function that will automatically detect if there is another device plugged in and switch to the active input. If I want to use two devices at the same time though I need to manually change. Hope that helps!

Thanks mate, thats terryfic 🙏
your videos really stand out. They just happen to be better than 99% of desk setup videos in everything... camera angles, lighting, storytelling, editing, content... This seems like the work of someone who actually enjoys their craft and takes his time
Thank you so much! I'm glad the work that I put it can be appreciated by the viewer
I live in Western Texas, and I am constantly cleaning dust. lol.
Dang, I feel for you man
Hello, Congratulations Cool 👍👏👏👏👏 I am impressed.
Thank you very much, glad you liked the video!
Awesome video! I'm thinking of getting the Eckbacken tabletop too for my new setup :). What shelves did you use for your charging station?
Thanks! Yeah the Eckbacken is a great looking tabletop. The shelves are the SUS Shelving Units - Wide Large in the light grey from MUJI. They’re called light grey but they’re actually white.
Hi Mate, can you please tell me from where you tool the wire shelve?
Hello, these are the SUS Shelving Units - Wide Large in the light grey from MUJI. They’re called light grey but they’re actually white.
Switching to a vertical mouse was a game changer. So much more comfortable.
Mouse, especially combined with numpad makes you spine and shoulder go crab. PS Split keyboard and touchpad don't
Nice video. Ugh wish had run across this before I redid my set up. Those oakywood blocks are sweet.
Glad you liked the video. Yeah the oakywood oakyblocks are a pretty cool system
Cool setup dude! What viewport is the vertical monitor? I currently run 34" and wanna switch to 27" + vertical, but I think that 34" will be too much...
Thanks! The 32'' vertical monitor I'm using is definitely getting towards the tall side for me but if you have a 34'' inch already you may as well give it a go
ummm what happened to the cololight mix in white stuff?
What white shelves do you have? Absolutely love them!

@@TerryX_ Thank you! A must pick up
Do you edit photos? If you do, how do you deal with a curved monitor?
I wouldn't say I edit photos in my workflow too often. The curve hasn't been an issue for me
im confused. How do you connect the monitors to the dock if there are no thunderbolt inputs on the monitors?
I'm using a USB-C to HDMI cable. You can also get an adapter for it
Please provide 'Cable Management' tray box - Amazon link ??
Unfortunately the one I used in the video isn't sold on Amazon, but I've updated the description with a link to one that's similar for you.
🔥🔥
🙏🙏
how do u switch mouse, keyboard and monitors between mac and pc, unplug everything? choosing display inputs manually every time?
Mouse and keyboard have a built in function to switch between devices, so no need to unplug anything I just have to manually click the switch button. The monitors automatically switch inputs if I turn one of my devices off and plug in a new one. If I want to have both the PC and Mac plugged in, I do have to manually switch though
Perfect video! I would like to ask you about the macbook, when you stop using it, do you set it to sleep? and when you move your mouse just wakes? Or is there any other option for vertical macbook? Thanks!
Thanks! Yeah you're spot on. When I'm done using it I just put it to sleep. Moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard turns the mac back on. As long as the Mac has power and a display plugged in, and is connected to a keyboard and mouse, this is the default behaviour when the MacBook's lid is closed. Hope that helps
Perfect! Thanks for your response! Keep up the great content!@@TerryX_
What size of the eckbaken table did you buy?
186cm (74'')
Hello, Congratulations Cool 👍👏👏👏
Thank you very much
dude at that point get a 49 inch or 43 inch ultra wide monitor that can do pip picture in picture or picture by picture mode.for me i be going too a single monitor setup but i need one ultra wide that has those modes where i can use 2 things in onei think one of your ultra wides can do that ?
Unfortunately neither of my monitors has PIP but a 49 in monitor is definitely on my upgrade pathway 🤔 I've always wanted one
The editing enhances the overall viewing experience.
Thanks! I try my best 😅
I’m using a kitchen tabletop as well, it’s dope.
Yeah it's great, looks nice too
The ugreen nexode mini 65w link isn't working, and i can't find it available anywhere online, including directly from ugreen website. Unfortunate, as this would be the perfect size to fit in my laptop bag vs all other 65w+ chargers which even the GaN are big and bulky
should be launching soon hopefully
6:47 Hi, where did you get that white tool rack?
It's a combination of a couple items. The trolley is a trotten from Ikea, and the caddy and shelves are from Muji. I did a segment on it in another video. Check it out if you need any more details - kzhead.info/sun/m6mEe5h6h4Cndmw/bejne.html
Thank you
Nice video and very nice mood but for want you use all of this “office” or desk
Thanks! For work most of the time
im sorry, what in the world was your DS sitting on?? is that a stand? I heard cololight pics? but I can't find that anywhere. I NEED SOMETHING LIKE THIS ASAP
The DS is sitting on an acrylic stand on top of a Cololight Mix. The lighting effects are pretty cool. Link is in the video description as "shelf light" if you want to check it out!
im curious what acrylic stand that is, ive never seen one at that angle before@@TerryX_
where would you put speakers with this setup ?
I have the speakers sitting on some stands behind me. Not the ideal position but honestly not bad. I might consider a smaller set of speakers to put on the desk in the future
May I know what is the brand of the racks those you are using ? Thanks.
These are the SUS Shelving Units - Wide Large in the light grey from MUJI. They’re called light grey but they’re actually white.
hey gr8 vid where was that astronaut lego from u forgor to mention it,,.....
They're nanoblocks. I've updated the video description with a link if you want to check it out
@@TerryX_ thanks bro😃
Love the setup, but I love the green-blue gradient wallpaper even more. Does anyone have any idea where I can find it?
Glad you like the setup. The wallpaper is from unsplash, uploaded by Codioful (Formerly Gradienta)
Thanks a lot
Air purifier helps keep dust down, plus saves your lungs from breathing in dust
Not a bad suggestion 🤔
The white shelves, are they from ikea?
I have been trying to find something similar but cant find them :((

what is the name of the thing your pc is on
That's the UPPSPEL PC Caddy, I've updated the video description with a link if you want to check it out
I am interested in the metal shelves. Are they from IKEA?
Those are the SUS Shelving Units - Wide Large in the light grey from MUJI. They’re called light grey but they’re actually white.
@@TerryX_ Thanks, I was hoping they were IKEA. Don't have Muji in my country.
Do you find the monitors too close to you? I have a 27” and I’m not sure if I need to upgrade my desk to something with a bit more depth, (my desk is also 25 5/8 inch), before getting a second 27”…
Personally, I don't feel like my monitors are too close. I have them pushed all the way at the end of the table and I think they're at quite a comfortable distance. I think you could be alright with a second 27'', but you could always upgrade the desk after I guess
Rule of thumb: an arm length is good. 50 to max. 100 cm.
What orange bag is this!?!! 3:48
That's the Orbitkey 2-in-1 Tech Pouch!
@@TerryX_ Oh hell yeah thank you so much!
Where's the link for wrist rest?
Oops, I forgot about it. I've updated the video description with a link
4K displays are not good enough imo. Just the fact that native apple devices are standardised to 218ppi you definitely need at least a 5k display for a monitor of this size
Não gostei, a mesa balançam muito! mas parabéns perlo vídeo
the dock is 500 and he recommends it to us. BRO WHAT
stop spying on me
What I don´t understand is why you have the desk in the middle of the room, instead of having it facing a wall? I feel that with the desk in the middle of the room, it uses up too much space.
different vibe I guess, sometimes I don't like to have my back facing the rest of the room
They will be "cool" if I have the money.
This setup costs more than my car.
nice set up i like you
thank you very much, glad you do
A tint of Singaporean accent
I get that sometimes, but I'm actually not Singaporean 😅
why would you need a new setup every year?
not really a new setup, just a couple changes that I thought could improve the workflow and give the place a fresh look 😅
@@TerryX_ Thanks for the clarification. I also do this and it always gives a motivation boost for some days😌

curved vertical monitor looks goofy as hell.
but other than that it looks nice man :)
At least you like most of it. Thanks 😅
Such a long video showing cables and keyboard, desk, mouse close up but not the set up. What was the point!
so the monitor is now like couple hundred bucks, he used ikea kitchen bench and spent rest of the budget for those oak accesories... like hundred bucks a pop... oh wait that were gift, but daymn such accessories cost like five hundred-ish in total ? where do these business people get idea to put the pricing, "oh yeah lets just slap some high price, put it on influencer videos and call it high end sustainable bla bla bla"....
Very weird, and feels like pro- product product placements. But tastes are different, go figure.
