Things are different now I am on my own again! 🇲🇬 SOLO in MADAGASCAR [S7-E103]

In this episode, it's time to start heading back to the capital and because it will be tarmac from now on, I continue on a pretty much vintage Africa Twin. I say goodbye to Didier and I'm on my own again: mixed feelings! The incredible town of Fianarantsoa is all worth it though!!

  • I wanted to take this time to say . The behind the scenes work that is put into this content is absolutely astounding. The sacrifice the discomfort and dangerous situations. makes most of us appreciate this content. And more than I can express ... take comfort in knowing we all here can say Thank you Noraly( Itchy Boots .)

  • I am old and have been riding for over 45 years. In my late 50s I changed from road bikes to adventure bikes and enduros. I have done 1000s of km on the Nordschleife and rode many years in South Africa and now in India. The golden rule applies: it is 85% the rider and 15% the bike. With Noraly's videos it is 85% the personalty and 15% the locations. The girls were right. Noraly is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. ❤

A few yrs back, we watched a TV documentary about 2 well-known men who rode heavy duty bikes through South America..two bigger whiners cannot be imagined. There is ZERO whining from this tough joyful woman...she just gets on with it. Inspirational is not a word to throw around lightly, but Itchy Boots is inspirational. Sharing her travels is epic. • Oh Island in the sun. Madagascar, just a name for most of us. But now we have discovered it's beauty, the beautiful pristine beaches on the blue ocean. The impressive Baobab trees , the friendly and helpful residents, the Malagasy . A woman called Itchy Boots rode ( with Didier on her site ) on a motorcycle over sandy paths, broken roads, dodging cycle rickshaws and ox wagons. Struggling through the swamps , cuddling with lemurs and not keeping it dry. Her magnificent drone images showed us the breathtaking beauty of this island. In the future when we hear something about Madagascar, we will remember these images and impressions of this island country in the great Indian Ocean . Thank you for taken us on your journey . All my thumbs 👍👍 up for you Noraly . Fedde

  • There was some spectacular scenery in the first part of your video, where all those rocky outcrops and hills were. It was really beautiful there. And then after you reached your final destination, you ended up having a free shower courtesy of Mother Nature! I sure hope you don't catch a cold! Take care and see you in the next video! 🤗✌🌷🌻🌷☔🌨

  • I gotta giggle about the gas gauge dilemma. While I would gladly admit I would never have the guts to do what this woman is doing traveling across the world on a motorcycle, and I consider myself a biker, most all of the bikes when I first started to ride bikes way back in 1972 when I was 12 years old all had "trip meters"... thats your gas gauge... the only other thing ya needed to know was the mpg's that the bike gets and you never run out of gas. Good luck Itchy Boots, I pray daily for all safe trips for you in your travels!!😁

  • Hi Noraly, There is no gas gauge on that bike it only has a reserve of 1.35 us gallons. Make sure you are riding with the peacock set to ON, not reserve. Once you start running out of fuel, switch to reserve and find a gas station soon. Remember to switch it back to ON after refill.

    @ducati543@ducati54317 күн бұрын
    • don't you love spell-check; petcock is the word! I knew there was a reserve but I didn't know how much.... my current is a weestrom set for 80/20.
