This guys calming voice and explanation for every thing makes his videos better than most of TV- shows! I'm amazed!
I see what u did there 😏
i don't even watch TV shows anymore lmoa
He's amazing
Lol why are you starting to say this every video?
I prefer the voice of the guy on the video games cheaters caught
Always loved Gardner's story, and Will Smith's portrayal of him in "The Pursuit of Happiness" was outstanding!
I've never seen the movie and this is the first time I've listened to the story, but it sounds terrible! Guy is responsible for his kid, risks the little that he has, making him and his kid temporary homeless (!), for the off-chance of becoming a successful stock broker? That's terrible!
Pursuit of Happyness, not Happiness. Purposely misspelled, because of a sign on the son’s daycare.
@@MartinTedder His story is already written. You focus on the negative too much. sucks to be you. He already became rich meaning and the risk he took was worth it and paid off in the end. What are you still yapping about? He became rich and has provided his kid a better life rather than letting his wife take their kid who was struggling as well. You do realize the video is about people getting rich, right? Quit you’re worrying. Everybody goes through shit, but Gardner managed.
@@pleaseforgiveme1749 sucks to be me? Alright....well, I guess he was lucky betting everything on the slight chance of being successful while being responsible for a kid. I'm not focusing on the negative, just being realistic.
@@MartinTedder Are you an entitled boomer? You seem so arrogant, lol. So if you're being realistic then why don't you focus on the reality that he actually managed to be rich and AFFORD a better life for his kid because of the RISK he took because he hanged on to that CHANCE OF BEING SUCCESSFUL. Keep in mind his wife, who left him, was also struggling. So either way, their kid would have a hard time. LOTS of people are struggling with the same situation as Gardner even now. But if we are talking about Gardner and you being realistic. Yes, what they went through was "TERRIBLE" but in the end it was all worth it. So what the fuck are you still yapping about. You acknowledge the fact that what they went through was terrible, but can't acknowledge that managed to get through it and got a better life in the end. How the fuck are you realistic?
Probably the best I've done is; 1. My mom got into costume jewelry. Probably 20 years ago, at a garage sale, I ran across a pair of rhinestone clips that I bought for around 75 cents. I eventually gave one to my mom (the other got lost in a move), who looked it up online and discovered that just one in the shape it's in was worth $150. 2. I found an old bowl of a brownish-yellow glass at a thrift shop. I gave a whole $2 for it. My mom looked it up, thinking it could be carnival glass. It's not, but it is worth $25. Pretty good profit, lol. My mom's gone now, but I still have the dress clip and the bowl.
Interesting yesterday I was just talking with my girlfriend about the pursuit of happiness. She had never seen it and I've seen it a few times. In some ways it makes me think about the journey that is my life. I lived in a tent by myself to a couple of different cars with my girlfriend half way across the country to a couple of shelters to now living in a apartment in the middle of the ghetto. I'm slowly getting myself closer to success. I'm proud I have a home. I honestly thought I was going to live the rest of my life homeless. I hope one day I will be as big of a success as Chris.
I have nothing but the outmost respect for you and your courage through this insane journey you're going through. You'll be successful man, you got this. You have the determination to be successful. I'd say you're a little more than halfway there. You have about 4 or 5 steps or levels left. I got faith in ya man!!!
Happyness, not Happiness.
Your girlfriend must be ugly as sin to have kept with you through all of that struggle. Congrats on pulling yourself up by your bootstraps: you are no longer a bum! You are now a functioning member of society!
the paperclip thing wasnt really that fair, if I remember correctly this guy's story got very popular while he was doing it, so many of his trades were people who recognized him and traded with him just to help him achieve his goal. so probably without that element of popularity he would have had a much more difficult time finding and making those trades
That's how most channels like Ryan trahan, etc do it.
@@SumirevinsActually Ryans challenge was pretty obviously hard for him and not many people helped him at all. He had to figure everything out himself.
I found the final trade heartwarming though.
Woah that grandpa was so lucky to get the jackpot 2 in a row! And he did good with the winnings!
Those stories were interesting and above all amazing 😮. Thank you BE AMAZED for never letting us down
i feel like i would accidentally throw half the priceless stuff away lol
That last story brought a tear to my eye cause I'm Romanian I hope he stays humble knowing what it's like to not have a home and sleep on a park bench. It just kills me knowing that there's so many people right now that are homeless and struggling... I only hope there's a bright future and we can get as many if not all people to stop suffering like that😢😢😢
To stop homelessness we need to stop millionaires.
@@bunnythebunny5827No, millionaires are a sign of a burgeoning economy. A rising tide raises all ships. To reduce poverty we need to implement policies that reduce the cost of energy which means voting out the globalist-affiliated politicians who keep signing our countries on to pie-in-the-sky climate treaties that the biggest emitters, India and China, refuse to sign. What you are advocating for is communism, which makes everybody equally miserable, except the ones who are more equal and get to tell everybody else what to do (totalitarianism). Historically, and without fail, the pursuit of communist utopia always results in the mass genocide of large segments of society. We don't want to repeat that mistake YET AGAIN.
Always an amazing day when y'all upload
are you a bot
No, just a channel regular whose always stoked when they upload
My dad once put a quarter in the slot machine and got a dollar back. It felt so good it scared him so he's never gambled since.
Smart man! 👍
Spent 4 days in Vegas back in November with my cousins for one of their 21st. My first time there but cuz I'm was born on the east coast, only play 15 dollars worth of slots and got 10 back the whole 4 days. Oh and keno cuz my late grandma loved Vegas and I never got to go with her before she died. Older cousin and her man gamble like no ones business
I once lost $20 in five minutes to a Video Lottery Machine. Never again. Apparently there are two kinds of people: the type for whom a loss is more devastating than the thrill of a win, and the opposite, the type for whom the thrill of a win outweighs the disappointment of loss. The latter are gamblers.
I loved the swap up guy but particularly love the use of tyres into shoes. Incredibly long use life and good grip too. Tyres will likely be essential many decades on and old tyres really need to be recycled somehow. This is one of the best uses I've ever seen for them 😊
For tyres?
As the neighbor of the ding bowl seller I can say they are Asian and I showed them this very video and they were astounded by the news she wasn’t even mad she was just glad that they made another person richer
6:37 id be pissed if I was the guy who sold the bowl, can you imagine selling a bowl for 3 dollars when it was worth millions, I’d be both livid and depressed
My broke ass watching this at 3 a.m seeking some motivation
These people are smart.they deserve to be millionaires
Yeah I've heard about the paperclip story before but it still amazes me😮
Yet again, I’m Amazed 😊
Man.. I’ve been going about life all wrong 😩
In Ghana too the same thing happens. They go to the junkyard for tires to make sandals. I've worn some before,it lasted for 5 years before getting missing
I'm a loyal viewer and I'm proud to see Kenya on the list
Me 2
This was really interesting and also well-written.
I love the be amazed logo 😊
The paperclip story is the BEST.
10:49 Action Comics #1 also debuted Giovanni Zatara, father of the mystic superheroine Zatanna. Their main form of magic is casting spells by speaking commands backwards, i.e. whatever they say backwards is commanded to happen.
I won the Jackpot on the slots once. Went to a casino with $100 in my pocket and lost it at the Blackjack tables over the course of 3 hours. Found a penny as I was walking out and saw the variable slots by the door where you can bet one cent to $100 per line (7 lines per spin, 5 horizontal and 2 diagonal). I put in the penny, selected one line and spun the wheel. I got the jackpot. Granted I would have had to bet $100 to get the 8 digit payout on display board, but I got around $110 for my single penny. Recouped my losses, took the extra $10 to the buffet, ate until I was full and left, breaking even.
Loved the Volkswagen guy...hardly a y luck involved, just good choices, seized opportunities and hard work...well done!
I’ve been to Las Vegas, and they have some air that gives you like so much energy, and they take away all the clocks
Honestly, I found the tire-flip-flop idea inspiring. Such a simple concept, and yet, so effective!
Wow you keep Finding all these new facts you deserve 20mill subs
My theory is that the lottery is a tax for people who never took statistics. Sometimes, lady luck smiles on a few people, but the majority just end up paying the tax...lol
My best friend/neighbor’s parents run the antique road show. Like, actually. They are the “masons”. Really nice people! (Edit: misunderstood them, they don’t run it, but they have a permanent appearance on the show. They aren’t a few lucky people who got on there a few times. their main job is basically to find things that they put on there. I think there looking at some kind of old robe right now.
Interesting content. I love what you're doing.
I sleep with this guy's videos on.. man its calm.
Ily that the underdog horse won ❤
I had heard about masaai tribe some time ago on discovery channel lol
i wish more people would watch this channel its SOOOOO GOOOOOD
or should i say amazing
@@stephaniemontalvo7470 amazingly good
You are the definition of a bot
Wow!😮 Those tire sandals can not only make a fortune, but they are environmentally friendly. I'm currently saving pop tops to support charity.
11:59 its mostly american issue, for example there are countries like: denmark, norway, sweden, finland, germany, austria and france, these countries have it for free
6:31 this really brings out the "one man's trash is another man's treasure"
I'm noticing a pattern here... most of these self made millionaires live in big places and get expensive stuff & vehicles, can money really change a person that much? If that's the case I'd rather stay on the poor side sense I'm a simple person 😌
Hello my fellow simple-lifestyler buddy! I am the same with you. I respect some of these people, but I am content with my modest, peaceful life. I'm just happy for them if they're happy with their lives, everyone has different descriptions about "success".
Same, money can't get you happiness.
i accedently bought a 2nd copy of a comic cus it had a differnet cover. the one i am planing to keep is concidered the common one where as the one i want to sell is rare. bought both for a $1 and can now sell the rare for $20. lol
Hey! That's AMAZING! 😊
not a millionarie, but still good
some lottery winners who end up broke are terrible with money because they've never had money before. i.e. disposable income. they overvalue it's value and believe it's endless. they make risky. often terrible investments because they can afford the loss. those investment losses and overspending on useless random items because "it's what rich people do" and the taxes on all the property they bought stick it up their wazoo and then find themselves broke long before they should've been
I'd advise against dumpster diving as in some places it's illegal...
Yeah. I really dont understand what was in peoples minds when they outlawed recycling potentially valuable items, dont they want to clean up stuff like e-waste and recyclable items?
@@Dumb_Unfortunate_Man nope that's the short answer
I've seen the paperclip. They for some reason told my class about it during class😂
This is by far the most beautiful thumbnail ever
Love your video. Be Amazed and keep up the great work
the red paperclip town, sooo wholesome
The new start animation is mint the sounds the woe then the mind exploding and the final ping is mint i would say jts perfect
I’m always amazed at the different ways tires can be used besides sandals and yet no on bothers with them. I guess they’d rather stay homeless or out of work.
If you come into a large sum of money, do not tell anyone. As people will come from all directions wanting your money.
Ya
this is a learning moment
Thankyou Mr Amazing love learning new things be safe warm 💖🙏💯
3:40 uncle roger is everywhere 🤣🤣
This man is better than popular tv news
I was homeless when i was 19 til about 22 23 years old. I dont condone dumpster diving but ive found money, jewelry, fresh clothes like with the tags still on them. Along with hats, i found a smart watch that worked perfectly. I also found a working undamaged HTC phone, sadly i had a very bad psychosis episode (more like audiotory hallucination to the drugs i was on and snapped the htc and threw it in a cup of water
Who here has been watching Be Amazed for a heck of a long time? ❤
Ive watched since 2017
The only thing of value i have is my desktop, PlayStation 2, gaming monitor, TV, other electronics and a rug i got from my parents. They gave it to me when i moved into my current apartment. Then i have two liqour bottles, one is from the Swedish metal festival Sweden Rock, called Sweden Rock spirits. Then there is an aluminium Coca-Cola bottle with Star Wars motives of the character Finn, a small clay flute in the shape of a bird. Then there's my little collection of Guinness world record books, of which the oldest is from the 70's or 80's if i'm not mistaken. I don't really have anything valueable
“And the businessman even bought a Ferrari of his own” Show a picture of him next to a Lamborghini
This was posted 23 mins ago and already has 3.3K views! how?

I cant believe you didnt make a say anything about Elmer Sherwin's last name sounding like Sure Win. it was right there! lol.
(Be amazed narrator) "ahem"..... You can say, that his last name SURE holds up, as a Suuuure- WIN !
the comic book, yea with so few copys known to be left even if it have some damage it will be attractive to collectors. i would think even copys that is rated 2-3 would be attractive to a collector, sure it wouldent be attractive for that price but might give 10k+ if not more
I have a Navajo weding basket from late 19 Century has a sentimental value but I wondering how much can cost???
the red paperclip is basically the US version of "The Straw Millionaire" lol
0:52 there's a driving by battat dump truck
I love be amazed!!!!!!!!
Did the guy have to pay the rent?
If you wear those sandals, you will never get tired
AMAZING 💯
"now he even has a ferrari of his own" shows picture of him with his lambo.
25:28 "bought a Ferrari of his own" shown a pic of Lamborghini, which if you bought one, you will be blacklisted to buy Ferrari forever
I've heard of all these before!
I’m not even kidding said he might’ve started another company, called calm. I look up on my top right and see calm.
There's also a be amazed video on the dumbest lottery winners
The odds that you could innocently acquire some obscure object and have it turn out to be worth a million, are roughly the same as winning the state lottery.
This is my dream at every yardsale
Bro invented “what do you do for a living?”
25:29 Talks about a Ferrari when showing a Lamborghini 😋
Literally got an add for Calm two minutes after it was mentioned
that blanket story lol
These Prices are crazy, tbh
Pursuit of happiness, i am kind same story unless i still didn't get rich yet 😅
I watch The mad lads episode on that Michael Carroll guy. Yeah he's out of his mind for that.
16:09 tHAT HORSE REALLY LOOKS GOOFY Xd
