I do the Seal Lion talk at times in Omaha. Loved the funny things that were said throughout the show
I've been there. Great place. Sea Lions are the Dogs of the sea: they love attention, food, and are easy to train.

I actually got selected to go up to the sea lion but I went to the one in San Diego which was not as fun. All I did was just give the sea lion a high five but still cool and they even gave me a pin I sadly lost it since I moved around a lot when I was younger. They actually select a kid before the show starts and they gave my mom paperwork. I think they choose me because I was wearing an Ariel shirt and was like one of the first kids there.

Sansboiw Ww well I am! I have a masters degree in it and can tell you right now this is animal abuse at its worse! Be a marine biologist but do it for the good of animals, not to help help this horrible place!

Não, eles não são bem tratados, primeiro que eles são obrigado a nadar em águas com cloro, segundo que são animais de água salgada não doce... A maioria sofrem depressão, ansiedade. E morrem cedo. TANTO, que eles não procriam 😢

No it, not the sea lions love to learn and they love it the train them and when go back in wild the know how love care about humans

@@alexiscenaa Yeah, that might be right. But there exist GOOD parks that really care about their animals and let them have good open places. (Like: Akvariet i Bergen)

@@alexiscenaa So, I think if Sea World made it a park that their number 1 priority is the ANIMALS. Not the humans, it would be a better park. And also, some animals do like to train. But, not by being totured.

Is it fucked up if I think put the orcas back in the ocean but leave the sea lions, there literally the dogs of the sea. I’ve never seen, read, or heard of one of them attacking.
Agree, but with sea lions. They actually like to learn, SeaWorld might be bad. But there exist GOOD places for them to live. Like Bergen Akvarium.

I am a big animal rights activist, but unlike orcas and dolphins, seals and sea lions actually do extremely well in captivity. They thrive in it actually. They love human interaction and having tasks to do, they don't need a huge amount of space and their lifespan is over a decade longer than it is in the wild. They shouldn't be performing on concrete like they are here and their living conditions at seaworld are questionable, but to compare sea lions to orcas is silly. Completely different animal with completely different needs.
