  • still can’t believe this dude clowned Kevin Holland en route to a 30-27 in his first UFC fight i knew he was good but he’s actually super elite. Henry made the point that beating Lima meant that Holland probably wouldn’t be an issue for him, and he was 100% correct

    • And he claimed it was only 60% of his capabilities. That seems like a bit of a stretch, but the guy is genuine and humble and never talks out his ass so maybe it's true. I've watched a lot of film on him and hes real. I did see multiple clear opportunities that he didn't take advantage of in that fight, he admits this and is upset with himself, regardles of the win. I expect 100% on the next one and it to be a real mf show 💪

Mma is mostly flash knockdowns with the smaller gloves before going in for the finish on the ground hence why its probably felt more and the damage is visible but boxers are going to put you down heavy and if you can you got to get up and take more!! 2 very different sports but respect and enjoy both

    @TheMidnightRider-2005@TheMidnightRider-2005Ай бұрын
  • Genuinely pleasant dude. The hate he gets is so unwarranted. For what lol? All he can do is beat who’s put in front of him and one of his losses (split decision to Logan Storley) was actually a win. I think Geoff Neal should be next. Maybe Neal Magny but Magny might be able to grind a win with spamming take downs and lay and pray. Eventually Izzy vs MVP would be interesting. Obviously Izzy is a lot bigger in every sense but man Izzy’s Muay Thai style vs MVP’s karate background would be so cool to see. Obviously it would be something that would only happen if Dricus beats Izzy and he’s clearly out of the 185 title fight for the foreseeable future but I do see it being possible since Izzy has beaten everyone at 185. The only possibly intriguing fight left there is Strickland and a lot of people say there’s no need to rematch that (I disagree. Izzy was such a long reigning champ it’s possible he just had a bad night. He definitely needs a chance to avenge that whether it’s for the title or not). Either way MVP has a lot of cool matchups that people would like to see even if he’s not in the title shot picture
