Just want to point out you have enraged regeneration in WOTLK already, I was actually scratching my head at the end of recording this video wondering why i ended up with 11 instead of 10 and its because enraged regen wasn't meant to be there lol! Also just wanted to add i think when i said the word "consume" when talking about lambs to the slaughter its worth noting it stays up for 15 seconds, as in once its stacked up the only way it drops off is if you don't refresh it, the point was more around you wouldn't hold certain abilities until you've got a 3 stack, you will just do your rotation as normal. I am sorry to say that you are still kinda clueless :) Which is understandable since I don't believe you main warrior. Cata removed stance dancing by removing the requirement for spells to be cast in specific stance. Like Spell Reflection. That was the most significant mechanical change there ever was. Not only by streamlining and simplifying the gameplay but also improving rage management. You got Shattering throw. Gag order. All the engineering gadgets. Changes to GCD enabled you to pop all your trinkets, cooldowns, skills together for massive AOE damage. And on top of that, you did not even bother mentioning second wind which made you a god tier PvP class. Cata was by far the best, most enjoyable and fun warrior iteration ever made.

Great vid - I would like to point out that I believe (based on what ive seen on the beta) the talent Lambs to the Slaughter doesn't get consumed when you use any of the abilities in the tooltip and its just 3 stacks you can easily maintain over the duration of the fights Cheers

You forgot to mention that every enrage-related skills are empowered by fury mastery: Enraged regen, Death wish, Raging blow, they all increase their damage and healing with the mastery as I remember

Arms Warrior really deserves this. After being literally Non-existent in Wrath.
Is this different from when cata originally released, or just the normal changes for the release?
Is shield block still going to be down most of the time? Because that’s the main thing holding prot warriors back in Wrath
I'd like to note that while I love playing warrior, protection warrior is just not very strong in Cataclysm. They simply do not have the same amount of utility and cooldowns as other classes and much of what they do have only works on physical direct attacks (mastery, shield block etc). Compare this to a Blood DKs mastery or just the sheer amount of cooldowns in comparisons, you will see a HUGE gap between warrior opposed to DK and paladin. Which is really sad.
With mele boss warrior prot is a beast
@@FernandoBaruja Not anymore than a paladin is and the paladin has more CDs. And if you want to talk physical damage mitigation, a DK is miles ahead of warrior.
@@NivGSL With top gear prot is better, have extra block rating, and reflect damage, with interven -20% damage reduction, armor reduction, an decent kit, againts melee boss prot is the peak.

Wotlk was a fury warriors wet dream. Cata will bring a new feel to warrior. Im looking forward to the class change.
I’m glad you mentioned blood and thunder for fury. True it’s useless on a boss fight but it’s great while gearing up doing heroics. You have to stance dance for it, but it’s really not a big deal and it’s a huge dps increase in dungeons.
Think they going to do fresh server for Cata Classic? Just checked my WOTLK toons I haven't played since Uld and I have like 5k gold... Old guildmate says he is at a couple hundred thousand gold and he is considered a broke boy. If not hypothetically what would be the best way to purchase gold without getting banned? Asking for a friend =P
Hopefully heroic leap will not be as buggy as it was when it was introduced. Couldnt jump up a slope that was more than 2 yards taller than ur current position. The jump at 3:05 was NOT possible at launch.
Warriors have Enraged Regeneration already in WotLK. Aside from that, great video!

would enraged regenration healing be increased by the 6% or the 20% from field dressing?
it goes up to 36% total from the extra 20% self healing so its 20% of 30% which is where the extra 6% comes from
@Scottejaye lamb to the slaughter is just a stacking buff, it is not consumed by abilities. In some fights warriors will lose the stacks because of mechanics, for example atramedes flying phase and they will need to restack the buff on the next ground phase. It's also a weak spot for pvp since enemy arena teams can force a warrior to lose the stacks by kiting o ccing him. It's easier to keep the stacks in 3s or rated bgs, much harder in 2s.
Sadly PvP is barely talked about and I keep seeing so many videos saying "ARMS WARRIOR WILL BE INSANE IN CATA CLASSIC" yes but that's explicitly for PvE. Totally mid for PvP

One thing you forgot about Heroic Strike and Cleave is that they are not on a global cooldown,meaning that you can use them in conjunction with your other abilities. For example,you can cast Slam and follow it instantly with Heroic Strike for extra damage. Also there's a glyph of Colossus Smash that causes Colossus Smash to apply Sunder Armor stack to target
Good think about colossus smash ! is it just keeps getting better! peak MOP colossus smash pop cooldowns adn you storm bolt into it!! going to be bout as satisfying as it can be1

Arms was mediocre in Cata PvP. Decent in 2v2/3v3 and maybe ok in BGs as long as you had a pocket healer. outshined by many others
Not sure if it's a bug but on beta the Lambs to the Slaughter buff doesnt get consumed by using an ability.
It should just stack a buff called "Slaughter" , its not consumed but can fall off after like 15 seconds i think it is

@@temper1776 I'm assuming they're attributing the TBC difficulty to timing your slam so it goes off of swing timer and clipping it roughly .2 or so seconds before the swing, as not to reset the timer. It was a good bit to time, I'm personally just happy that Arms is top dog in PvE, fury is fun but arms has always been my favorite.

@Scottejaye I played it to glad in 3s. Better play WLS or Ret/War/Sham. Definitely not broken but I wouldn't discourage playing it. It's still a fun class.

The remove of armor P for warriors and the introduction of that ability is actually a nerf. You no longer have constant pressure. RNG was the worst thing that has happened to warriors. With Colossus smash on CD, you feel like a rogue using his filler abilities.
Dont worry, In late game with enough mastery it will be up almost permanently anyway
Also remind yourself armor pen is removed for all classes. Giving colossus smash even more value.

yes and no , you should check how the warrior talents are working in cata , it feels way better with the talents talking with each other
after 8 years of cataclysm experience on free server and playing all classess. warrior was the worst of them all until last phase. weak tank, below average dps until 4.3 and super weak on PVP
Warrior in pvp is much worse than wotlk. Youd rather rogue hunter dk feral in pvp b4 a warrior. Mortal strike nerf doesnt help.

@ysmr1843 it's B tier for sure. The 1st season is their best. I'm 2860cr on wotlk right now just to weight my opinion. From memory + pserver ladder it seems rogue hunter feral & dk are the most popular melee followed by war ret enhance. No class is BAD like unviable, but warrior's reign at the top like wotlk is over. Colossal smash is cool, 100% arp for 6s, problem is you could do that damage the entire fight during wotlk lol. So it's like getting 6 seconds of wotlk dmg. Mortal strike goes from 50% to 25% healing reduction as well. So less oppressive dmg + less pressure from MS along with many classes getting more defensives + heals makes you less impactful compared to wotlk. Throw down is a cool ability, gives you a stun, but dmg wise you just aren't your wotlk version. Surprisingly slam comes back into use again.

Very unfortunate, but yes it was bound to happen with how strong arms was in wotlk pvp, a nerf in cataclysm was pretty much inevitable. Sad but they're still somewhat fun to play. Not as fun as rogue, mage or feral druid for pvp tho =) even hunters are more fun lol.

They are B/C tier in phase 1, Now in firelands/dragon soul they pump but before that they are trash like wotlk Saying they are OP is def not true in phase 1 because just like wotlk warriors suck because of having no gear. They scale great like always but in phase 1 nobody will want a warrior AT ALL. You will have 1 warrior at most during phase 1. You shouldnt be saying they are overpowered because outside of dungeons they are bottom of the list in dps and I mean WoTLK Naxx warrior DPS. Also warrior tanks are trash phase 1 too outside of dungeons. You will not get a raid spot as a tank at all during all of Cata and you wont get a raid spot as DPS until mid/late Cata. Nobody will take warriors when you can just add another hunter because warriors do 2/3 DPS. Even in Firelands they cant keep up with Hunters. Warriors are OP in Dragon Soul but all around warriors suck ass phase 1. This video is actually pretty bad because your not giving people useful info all your telling people is their abilities that sound OP but suck ass most of the expansion again. Please dont say they are overpowered because nobody cares about leveling and dungeons. You should tell people truth they suck really bad until late Firelands. Yea they feel OP leveling but who cares and I can tell you didnt do anything but level and do couple dungeons and thought wow warriors are good but THEY SUCK ASS.
Considering we're getting the later patch where they're buffed to shit, arms warrior is top 3 all day every phase hands down. Their single target is amazing, and any add cleave on top of that they excel extremely well.
