  • This is a placeholder. I know that someday these guys will be big, i'm leaving this here to show my utter respect for the post rock genre and any bands subscribed to that flavour of music. May Duster live on.

    • Stratosphere is an amazing vibe album, it almost feels like one long song to me, swelling and dying out, with occasional snatches of melody throughout. Contemporary Movement is more like a traditional album to me, each song being its own thing, but still cohesive. The one track I’m not as much a fan of is Get The Dutch, honestly I feel like it doesn’t fit with the rest of them for some reason, although it’s still a good song. I love both albums (and the s/t) but I think this one is my favourite. Cooking is god tier

    @jorgedebracamonte6350@jorgedebracamonte63502 жыл бұрын
    • Exacto. Yo creo que lo mejor y peor de Duster es su lentitud al tocar, así como su uso de progresiones demasiado similares en casi todas sus piezas. Álbumes como el de Stratosphere se vuelven monótonos debido al ritmo en extremo pausado y a que todas sus canciones suenan igual. En cambio, Contemporary movement me parece el remedio perfecto a esos dos detalles de la banda: melodías variadas y estructuradas de una manera que da paso a momentos de emoción desbordante :)
