Just stacked the bar until it couldn't hold another plate. The 25s were all scattered around stacked on various machines. But all the plates racks were empty except for a few 10s, and mostly 5, and 2.5s. That was the final straw for me. I just left and ate the loss of my membership. Started building out a home gym.

    • @@InnuendoXP I seen it a lot on the gym before I stopped going. On peak times especially its all strewn all over, out of place and left on the barbells. If I do intend to use the weights, after being done placing them back in their proper place, rack section and dumbell stand, wipe down and disinfect; resetting to zero. It is a nice gesture for everyone. If the next person don't think or care for that, I don't mind. I did my part keeping the gym tidy even if it will get ruined by another person. There is always this guy trying to justify him training at a home gym. It's great if it works for you but most home gyms are absolute shit, you need a considerable amount of space and at least some 3 grand to set up a half decent home gym where you actualy could do most of the things you'd do at a commercial gym with decent quality equipment. A decent leg press will eat up most of that budget, a barbell that won't fold on you after a couple deadlifts (not even one good enough for olympic lifting or serious powerlifting) will be at least 300 dollars. Gym equipment is expensive, people who pay gym memberships aren't all just idiots you know.

I ended up injuring both of my wrists doing so over the course of several shifts because the weight room was so chaotic. I'm positive many people have gotten injured re-racking other people's weights. Not putting your own damn weights away is the epitome of inconsiderate, not only because you're expecting someone else to do it for you, but because of the injury risks that accompany it (think of some poor old lady having to take hundreds of pounds off the leg press just so she can use it).
