  • 2:52 the IV at the top is 4 there Roman numerals and yes the other stuff are Egyptian hieroglyphs. Just for future reference I =1 - II=2 - III=3 - IV=4 - V=5 - VI=6 - VII=7 - VIII=8 - IX=9 - X=10 - XI=11 - XII=12 - XIII=13 - XIV=14 - XV=15 - XVI=16 - XVII=17 - XVIII=18 - XIX=19 - XX=20 - L=50 - C=100 - D=500 - M=1000 And no I didn’t have to look them up I just have this useless bit of info floating around my head (I can also read some versions of Norse ruins without needing to look them up but I’m a bit rusty on them, also some angelic script and a few other scripts but it’s easier to look them up to make sure you don’t get it wrong, hieroglyphs I’m a little bit fluffy on I can kind of work out the meaning but not the actual words)

  • the reason there are Roman numerals on the puzzle even though it’s related to Egypt might be a reference to the time long ago when the Romans invaded Egypt

  • I needed all my weight lifting force to open this as every piece was locked stiff. Even the little key had to be removed with pliers. Why make the wood so difficult to work with? To put it back together I broke a part as it’s so difficult to slide the parts.
