Hey everyone! This October The Hummer Club Inc. celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the Hummer H1 at Anthracite Offroad Adventure Area in Coal Township, Pennsylvania. This event was massive and we had over 30+ Hummers and our first Hummer EV attend this event. Since there were so many Hummers, we were able to split into multiple easy and hard groups depending on your skill and comfort level. In this video, we got something for everybody: easy scenic trail riding, intermediate offroad obstacles, and rock crawling. We hope we are able to do events as big as this one in future, so we need new club members! If you are interested in going to a future event, check out: thehummerclubinc.com
There is only one more event in the 2022 calendar, but all the 2023 events will be posted in January at the start of the new year. If you navigate over to the past events on the website, you’ll be able to see where and when the club typically goes to different locations. There are several events that are hosted all over the country. We hope to see you there!

    • @@4lowmode Heeeey Thank You very much for the invitation... I am a Die Hard AM GENERAL Fan and I am happy to say that I have owned all 3 HUMMER H1... H2... H3... And by far my Pride and Joy Joy Joy is my 1990 AM GENERAL M998 That used to be a Patrol Until in the U.S. Army... And was a 4 door soft top wagon that had the big wip antenna on it... But I bought it from West Kentucky Surplus and I have SERIOUSLY Transformed it into my Absolute dream vehicle... A 4 Door HARD TOP Truck that is Forest Green... It still has the Tried and True 6.2L I.D.I. V8 with the ol 3L80 3spd... Which as soon as I can... I'm planning on upgrading to the 700R4 because I absolutely need it to be a 4spd but also want to keep it mechanical... No electronics... Soon as I get this accomplished I will be ready to rock n roll on the interstate

    • Next event is coming up! October 12-15th back at AOAA. Yeah the stuff we were doing where the guy broke his u joint, was definitely pretty difficult. You could go with a another group that was doing easier trails.

  • So cool that the H3t guy breaking was able to unlock his hubs, pull the front shaft and go 2wd. Shoot that would make for a pretty decent mpg increase I’d imagine on the hwy

    • Yep that H3T is pretty unique. It has a solid axle swap conversion. Basically this swap replaces the stock independent front suspension for a straight axle that allows for more articulation and lift.

    @gjermundification@gjermundification Жыл бұрын
    • I get what you are saying but this park that we went to doesn't want you to be cutting down trees with a chainsaw so that's why we avoided doing that. I know we had 1 guy in our group that had one.

      @4lowmode@4lowmode Жыл бұрын
  • I didn't see the EV the 2nd day. Heard he was only getting 2 miles of charge per hour on the hotel 110V. The narrow trails kinda stunk for us big boys. The Mod Mafia rear steer truck made quick work of them though. WIsh you guys could have seen the stock HMMWV do that 5 foot drop obstacle. It was impressive. I might have footage of it. Will have to go look.

    @nothingtoseaheardammit@nothingtoseaheardammit Жыл бұрын
    • I talked to the guy with the EV after the event. He said he didn't go out the second day because his back was hurting. I think he went into town to a local brewery and then came out for the group dinner later in the day. He did tell me that he had enough range to make it that second day if he wanted to. Yeah sorry I didn't get as much footage of the H1s. I really would have liked to, but I wasn't in those groups and I did try getting footage after the event. It was a great time though!

  • How did that electric hummer do?

    @H3Duramax@H3Duramax Жыл бұрын
    • It did good. The EV only did easy trails, but it kept up with the rest of the group. I got a separate comparison video coming between the EV and the H1 in these very tight forest trails.
