I edited the majority of this video a couple of months ago and I hadn't gotten around to uploading it. This video was Caleb and Chasen’s first attempt at reading a video script, please be very mean to them in the comments.

I feel like the destroyer is a combination of both the Brain and the Eater. It’s the eater of worlds as the base, with the brain of cthulhu’s creepers serving as the probes.

I think the destroyer was implemented long before crimson was introduced.

@@calculuslover2078 even though the crimson was added in 1.2 whereas the destroyer was added in 1.1, it does still feel like the destroyer takes gimmicks from both of the evil biome bosses

I always saw the eater of worlds as Cthulhu’s intestine. I mean, he devours things, and it along well with the whole ‘body-part’ theme.

It feels like their building up to it. First they had the eye, then they added the brain, then they added the mech bosses, then they wrote lore and then made mechdusa. All that's left is to add the brain and put them together. Maybe if you spawn Mechdusa and the brain while moon lord is alive.
I think the moon lord IS cthulu’s true form. I’ve heard of it being confirmed by one of the lore post on the official forum.

I find it interesting the Moon Lord has 3 eyes. His top one (EoC) and the two on his hands (the Twins), which solves the issue of there only being ONE ‘natural’ Eye of Cthulhu. EoC is the only remaining one of the three original eyes. (…probably)
I always theorized that the Moon Lord is just the real Cthulhu's spirit. Maybe the Moon Lord has no legs because he is a ghost? I can't think of a single ghost or spirit in terraria that has legs. Maybe that's also why he's summoned at the dungeon cuz that's where the undead would be strongest

King slime and queen slime don't have lore. Deerclops is a crossover that Terraria did with Don't Starve: Together. He didn't have a bestiary entry at the time of recording.

@@itzkeltzz Once again it is because the aforementioned bosses had either no lore or a lackluster amount of lore. I chose to include the Queen Bee only because I felt pre-hardmode was lacking. The Duke is my favorite boss, but his lore only explains that he is an irradiated pigron (i.e. it is never mentioned how he came to be). The same can be said about the missing bosses (King Slime, Queen Slime, Deerclops, Empress of Light); I decided that their lore wasn't sufficient enough to earn a spot in the video. When I wrote the script for this video, there was a section for Duke Fishron. It read: "Duke Fishron is a mutated pigron- a different mob in Terraria. He is summoned by using a truffle worm and a fishing rod. His bestiary entry is as follows, “An aquatic pigron mutation from the depths of the ocean who surfaces in search of a rare, savory type of worm." When he was originally added, a bug made players unable to spawn him for multiple in-game days." I sincerely hope you enjoyed the rest of the video. I always thought the eow was the reanimated spine of chtulu the cause of the corruption but also mutated by it
Yeah EOW is just a massive worm formed by the corruption rather than BOC helping the crimson

Skeletron is only PART of Cthulhu’s skeleton.they pieces of bones could form together to make what skeletron is,just like the chunks of Cthulhu’s brain ripped off made a smaller brain

Interesting video, because I haven't ever gone out of my way to read all the bestiary entries before, but I wish you guys did more for this video than just reading the beasitary entires verbatim. It would have been fun hearing you two speculate on further lore not explicitly stated in the bestiary, like trying to connect every boss' lore together, or making up plausible lore for for the bosses and minibosses not mentioned in the video.
Thank you for watching! I would've loved to go into a little bit more detail, but I had to keep the script relatively simple. This video began as a "practice" video for Chasen and Caleb. I would write the script, record some lines, and edit the video while all they had to do was read some of the scripts. While still remaining simple, I tried to delve a little deeper (i.e. the Moon Lord's backstory, Skeletron's backstory, and the Mechanical Cthulhu), but I still experienced some limitations. I am tempted to create part two of this video where we take a look at the bosses and minibosses that were absent in this video. Let me know what you think of that idea, and have an amazing day! ♥

A thing most people seem to forget: it was technically confirmed that the guide is, or at least has connections to the Wall of Flesh.

The voodoo demon’s entry says “higher ranking demons can possess a doll of the chosen one,whose soul is linked with the world’s guardian.” The wall probs isn’t the actual guide,but they have connected souls

@@elizamandrou7342I feel like we are completely neutral in Terraria. We do bad stuff, but we also kill major threats to the world, including the moon lord who is basically the big bad of Terraria.
you’re also the bad guy when fighting queen bee, golem ( since you steal from and slaughter the lizahrds after breaking into their temple) and empress of light ( she’s right to see you as impure bc of the things you’ve done against WoF, queen bee and golem amoung other things)
Yeah the WoF is likely a good guy, or at least a necessary evil to keep the light and dark spirits at bay. I can think of a few reasons as to why the MC has to defeat it: 1- To break the seal and destroy what was inside of it, purifying the world in the process; 2- Because the MC is hungry for power; 3- Because the Guide knows about the Lunatic Cultist's plan of reviving the Moon Lord, so he wants to create a hero who can defeat him

Moon lord is actually a guardian like plantera and wall of flesh made by the gods in terraria's lore (the devs)
