  • India is such an industrious place, you'd never see that kind of craftsmanship in the dirt elsewhere.. I was in India and had a 1991 Royal Enfield in 2011 and i must admit during those sped up moments of them sanding back the parts, i couldnt help but laugh.. reminded me so fondly of the characters of india and their massive hearts and the down right dirty jobs people would do to get by.

  • Who abandon such an awesome bike as the Royal Enfield??? Love one even the India made ones. When sanding and spraying a bike you will want to tape up your petcock, and put a covering over the fuel cap hole. also taping up certain sections of parts when you are priming and painting. Putty is not needed to cover entire sections of the part only dents or imperfections. If I had it apart I would cut unnecessary parts away. When painting you put on multiple coats, sanding between each coat and then finally put on a clear coat.

  • had one of them a few years ago but I got it brand new.......a green one.....I recall going on this charity ride and every single person there had a harley which is natural in the southern USA....we stopped to pee at this little store and all them bikes parked side by side by side and people gathered around my royal enfield,they didnt know what it was checking it out...made me feel pretty good my bullet got that much attention.
