The Honda CD-70 has been in production for several decades, with a rich history dating back to the 1980s. It has stood the test of time and continues to be a reliable choice for riders.
Even so, it happens that some of them do not have a good life.
Thanks to people like @LiveWithCreativity , these dream classics can live a second life. The rust will turn to chrome, and the roads will shine again.

  • When I first saw the title I clicked on it to watch. While watching I was thinking about how many of these that I seen running around in the Philippines in 68. Then it struck me that was closer to 60 years than 40!! Man where does the time go. You do beautiful work by the way. Bet you never thought that this project would touch the memory of someone riding a bus. Halfway around the world 50 + years ago.🤔

  • Man, you took it apart and just 'morphed' it back together.... I am stUnned. Must be very rewarding. Probably took a lot of effort learing about all the products you're using just on this bike alone. Made me think back of taking my seconde hand bikes apart as a kid, bathe every part in a tub with strong degreasing dish washing products.. these parts sometimes came out like straight out of the factory. I loved doing that.

  • I used to assemble early versions of the 70 right out the crate for Bob & Dave’s Honda, Southgate, Michigan in 1965. Great little bike.

    • Hi mate! Maybe you can explain why they were putting the engine sideways? Like it's on Harleys. Because back cylinders will always be hotter. Is it just for a style and looking?🤔 It was the first question I've had looking on the bike of preview... But on the video, first what catches attention is a screw, inside a fuel tank...😮

    • Most of parts are obviously new, not restored.When overall contition is that bad, no reason to restore it. In country were are millions of these bikes.

If he goes to the extent of filing down the sides and top of a nut to restore the original metal then he'll go to any length to use as many of the original parts as he can. Other than rubber bushings, tires, cables etc that are obviously new i see all the rest is a complete restoration job. A well done job. This guy knows what he's doing!! 👀👈👍😀

    • Where would someone find in excellent condition a 60 yr old motorcycle?? I haven't seen one yet in recent years in N. America since they came out in the 1960's. And i don't believe there were "millions" produced back then. Honda was not a popular motorcycle in the early '60's.
