Logistics Base Rule #1: place logistics bases in remote regions, make them as inaccessible as possible, preferring mud puddles and rocky climbs over dirt roads (paved roads can’t be even considered).
"...this time it turned out to be a mistake" *erik satie music starts playing* love this series
One note for Smithville Farm.....there is an easy route you can take along the left most fence lining that makes it almost impossible to get stuck and is alot faster with no mud, just a couple of small ditches that you have through you a bit off balance.....go roughly 30 yards past the main entrance to the farm, coming from the garage, and make a right to drive alongside that outer fencing, avoid the one annoying tree trunk, go over a little mound and you are at the farm loading area with very little hassle.
This game is so peaceful, yet infuriating at the same time, it's so hard to explain to someone who hasn't played it.
Aaaannd i flipped my truck 🙃
hi all that are reading comments before watching, i have a tip for when you reach 22:38. extend your crane to the left fully and as low as possible with 10-15 inches away from ground, and then your truck will have weight of the left side from the crane to slowly easily come down with the maintanence trailer, do not worry about crane coming in the way to the trees on the left, the crane simply moves away, and comes back (its not locked in position). i still suggest low gear and small acceleration.
Loving the series so far. I had the maintenance trailer and the Chevy at the garage still. I had changed out the sideboard bed for the flatbed on the WS. I took the ramped trailer (the one that had the cement blocks on it) and use the Chevy to pull the maintenance trailer onto the ramped trailer and drove the Chevy onto the WS. Then did what you did to take the metal beams back to Smithville Damn. The WS is a beast of a truck for sure.
Without WS this game wouldn't be possible
Dont worry, it could be worse. For example I got all the way to the end only to find out I loaded the wrong service parts at the start. Now I have to go back and get it and I dont think I have enough fuel.
I know you added your own rules on top of hard mode, but I have a crazy idea that yes it costs money but will actually save a lot of money in truck purchases later on. I took the P-16 and the Chevy pickup to Lake Kovd, and I got the AWD upgrade for the GMC. I left the chevy there I just brought the P-16 back. The GMC with AWD and all the rest of the upgrades can handle just about anything.🤘😬🤘
The GMC is great once it's had all the upgrades installed. I opted not to jump forward to other regions in this playthrough as I believe it would be relatively straightforward to pick up the CAT 745C, Tayga & Tatarin and use those to complete the early missions in Amur to get the ZIKZ 605R. It would make some regions like Michigan a breeze. How2Gaming was able to get the ZIKZ by level 6 in hardmode, but that way is risky if anything goes wrong: kzhead.info/sun/ZJ2ud6WhsWueZIk/bejne.html
That's a nice idea, I love that truck and I might try it. Cheers!
This tirned into an absolute nightmare for me 😭
I think the left path by the drilling site is a little easier
You have mentioned that any trailers required for objectives must have at least 10% of fuel capacity to count. Is there a similar threshold for repair points?
I actually haven't run the maintenance trailer down that far before and it isn't possible to transfer points to another trailer/addon like you can with fuel, but I believe the 10% limit does also apply to repair points.
@@KnullModem Yeah, I haven't gotten one down that far (yet ;) ), but I was just wondering. I can see myself using too many repair points and making a big problem for myself.
@@project1003you can empty the repair points and tires, only 10% of fuel is needed, rest is not necessary
