The top 10 available tranfers is very interesting. For all people who think NIL is just like open market free agency, I guarantee all 10 guys won't end up at the most prestigious, most resourced programs. Teams aren't just buying players off an auction block in college football to build their football teams.

As the only 2 majors left, the B10 and SEC (the others can/should join if they want) need to get together and form their own governing body. The ncaa has become useless and irrelevant. Make rules that put limitations on the portal, such as only allowing 1 penalty free transfer and/or just not participating in the spring portal. They should also agree to revenue sharing to give players guaranteed money. This will help to reign in the NIL chaos and give kids more incentive to stay put. The SEC already has an agreement in place to not poach players from other SEC teams during the spring portal, so there's already somewhat of a precedent for it. There's still time to fix this before it's too late, but the NCAA can't be involved. Their sole responsibility should be acedmic eleigibilty rules. The rest should be left up to the conferences to reach a mutually beneficial agreement that protects the traditions and pagentry that make cfb special while still allowing the players to make some money and have options to improve their individual development and opportunities.

I really love this show. I loved the coverage of the Gators and the talk with Napier. Then this episode was awesome, too, at Miami and talking to Mario. The Gators and Canes open the season in Gainesville. I'm really looking forward to that game. Thanks for all the great coverage. I just have to get this one critique off my chest. Again, I love this show. The one gripe I have is I get a little tired of hearing who was right and wrong. He seems really concerned with pointing out when "other people" or "some other folks" were saying one thing and he was saying another. He was right and they were wrong. Or they had a knee jerk reaction and he is waiting. I don't care, personally. It seems kind of petty. Just reoort the news and tell us your opinion. That's what we're here for. Okay, I feel better. Interesting to see how some of the kids that played games in creating recruitment drama are back in the portal after one year. Someone needs to tell these young ones the NFL is watching.
