@@HydrengeaEdelweiss Even if we quadrupled the kill time, that's still only ~48 hours worth of bot slaying, and we got more than double that time to finish it. I'm not so sure we can't do this, although the country block issue might've also shaved off some of the playerbase until Sony/Steam fixes their shit.

Love fighting bugs (have 50k+ bug kills) but ballistic shield with new SMG, EAT, incindiary impact grenade (which destroys scout walkers) is SOOO much fun at the moment against bots.
There's a couple problems with this major order. First off, the Factory Strider riding Bile Titan in the room. This is just rekindling the bug stompers vs bot smashers feud. We "killed 2B bugs in 13 hours" with a bugged counter. Now it's the Automaton's turn and there's now a lot of s*it on the table. First on that is there are still missing divers which hurts. Second is that there are still divers who refuse to fight bots. Third is this order has a proper kill counter which is something bot smashers are going to laud over bug stompers to no end. The other major problem with this major order is the reward. We do this and we'll get the anti-tank mine.....You guys (my choice was always the mines) chose the ABRL Diver Killer-12,000 Mk17 V9 and look what that got us. It was bugged on deployment that required an instant patch. It wasn't the anti-air monster everyone assumed it would be and in fact it's hardly present when there are aerial enemies. After that we got the other weapon "rebalancing" that made no sense. We then got the disappointing warbond and I'm looking at this stratagem like, "Is this thing REALLY done or is it just something you want checked off of your list?" Are we going to get something that actually works as intended out of the box or is this going to be dead on arrival garbage that requires a patch to get to work and further "balances" end up nerfing it into obscurity? I'm not saying it's not worth the attempt, there's just a lot more reasons to question the value of completing the order. Play how you will, but with missing divers, Sony being Sony, and a bad recent history with released content from Arrowhead, it's really REALLY hard to get any motivation to actually join this one.

It's not from the new War Bond, but today I ran the Airburst Rocket against the bots, and I think it's rather fun and not terrible. Dominator, impact Airburst Rocket, Airstrike, 380mm Flex slot: 500kg, 120mm, OPS, Airburst Strike
The Pummeler SMG, the Verdict Pistol, and the Incendiary Impact Grenade are all decent. I've used them on a couple of helldive missions with a Balistic Shield, and Quasar Cannon and didn't have any issues. You do have to be quite accurate with the SMG though to quickly take out Devastators and Berserkers you'll need to be hitting those headshots.
The devs literally stated ages ago they want the free warbond to remain the best so it isnt P2W

@Syldarin it's actually down by about half on playstation. I checked it everyday to get an idea of statistics. 200-250k before the Sony drama, and oddly enough, after it's been lucky to reach 150k at peak hours on weekends even. Even though it's on playstation, which shouldn't make sense.
This Major Order will probably be failed by us as well, I'm playing against bots on level 5 of difficulty and it's a fuckin nightmare. This is how nerfing weapons and strengthening opponents ends. I just don't want to play.

@@Omni0404 basically the only guns that work are the breaker and punisher, mostly the punisher because it can push back enemies. but it's not a good sign if only 2 weapons are actually effective against them.
@@manboy4720 To quote the devs, "Rely on your stratagems more." To reply with the reality of the situation staring at the AA modifier and only 3 stratagem slots, "What stratagems?" I'd try using the Dominator on them if you've got it. The Dominator's armor pen and stun is a bit broken to the point that I'm surprised it hasn't been nerfed or completely blendered into something else that isn't the Liberator Concussive fused with the Liberator Penetrator fused with the Diligence Counter Sniper. Concussive stun, medium armor penetration, damage. All three of those guns get out done by the Dominator.

We were about 87 mil out of 2bil before the 5 hour mark. More likely than not, it will take most of the weekend, but finish about 4 day mark.

Sounds about right, we took about 1 day to get 2B bugs with it quadrupling our kills. So it should take around 4 days for the bots, although the population is significantly lower than before.

My real hope is that these are older versions of the weapon and the MIC gets us the updated models, hope to Liberty.
This game is bugged to hell with this update. I had a defense mission where rockets quit launching so we failed. Game crashes often and the sound is bugged like crazy. Also I had multiple times where I called in a support weapon and it never came down.
It’s too buggy to even play. I’m not gonna waste any more time doing a 20 min game just for it to crash at the end.
Without our buds in the countries that you can’t play the game in until they fix it this is going to be quite hard
Finally back to the bots. Those bugs get boring pretty fast.

I'm thinking of an afk strategy to simply find i mission with a lot of fabricators near the extract, complete said mission, call extract, setup multiple turrets, get kills from the spawning patrols and the constant stream of troops from the fabricator, the more fabricators the more troops, although patrols will spawn regardless, I need to find a mission type where the large amount of small troops are the most common patrol
At least its over the weekend

I like to think that the Terminid situation got so bad because of the “data error”. We killed a quarter of the bugs we were supposed to.

Helldivers 1 had 15 difficulties I just wanna see how chaotic 6 more levels would be in helldivers 2 would probably get more player attention too
It started with 12 levels, then received 3 more. If they ever increase the difficulty, it'll probably be by 1 or 2 levels.

new smg is very good. i still like jar5 better for bots, but i can defilitely use it on bots and it's good. even better vs bugs
@stylosa Helldivers 1 had 15 difficulties and had a boss for each enemy type which needed to be unlocked before each challenge.
To be fair, it started off with 9 difficulties. The additional ones didn't appear until the later updates.

Open Map with Tab. It shows your sample count on the top right corner
You can see your sample count if you open your map. Near the timer. Pretty much as the comment above me explained

HD1 had more difficulty levels. So imagine if the patrols were 6 tanks and a factory strider as a standard patrol. I never understood why people complained about the amount of big enemy spawns on 9 when the game came out cause that is what I expected compared to the first game.

I was so excited to not be killed by Eruptor shrapnel, but it’s just a rubbish weapon now. The explosion doesn’t do enough damage to warrant the rate of fire and limited capacity. Had to stop using it.
I've been playing bugs for a long time. Played some bot games, and yeah, they reminded why I prefer fighting the bugs😂
I am so angry they told us about that duplication bug. Even if its true, they should have just kept their mouths shut about it. That major order was the community's proudest moment and they add an in-game message to make sure EVERYONE knows it was fake? That is such a d*** move!

Why everybody is so mad with the game? Since i bought Automatons 2 well yeah we have a rough start but now I'm really happy with the state of the game. Yes i know we suffer a little at the beginning when Helldivers had that stupid railgun and two shot our chargers, but not its so funny to see them charge that thing like 30 times and just tickles! face-blue-smiling Or that stupid slugger shotgun that get terminids very mad. The snipers were a good introduction to Automatons 2 but honestly its getting boring to snipe those fuckers from base to base with our missile launchers or when you play as a devastator. To be honest Eruptor primary and the AMR were a bit of a problem but lucky us our devs fix it nerfing those two really fast, still we waiting for another patch so they misalign the ARM again because its getting annoying. Eruptor can stay that way since basically hits like a cotton bullet. Scorcher was 2 shooting our striders but now its 5 so idk why some robots keep complaining about it. Same with the dominator, its funny to see how hell divers shot one of our soldiers and then aim at you but the real crosshair is still coming around the corner face-turquoise-covering-eyes. Human "machineguns" are basically useless but its fun to see a dumb helldiver here and there bringing one and try to kill you when you are riding a hulk or something, its one of those moments you don't if you want to smash the guy or burn it with your flamethrower from a mile away since devs introduce the "reach from really far" patch. Ahh and the Quasar joke hahaha you can see the memes on the automaton HQ discord guys making a cup of oil and a screws sandwich while the helldiver try to charge that thing to shot ONE of our transport ships while the other 7 just land in their heads with 8 hulks, 2 tanks, 10 devastators and more! Funny as Hell!. Omg and the Stealth Tech Upgrade you can install in your bases to make them fail with their Spear hahah its hilarious to see them struggling to lock on when you are riding a big AT Strider and you see those fuckers ti ti ti ti ti FAILl ti ti ti tiiiii I GOT IT ........FAIL face-blue-smiling and never actually shoot anything. Oh and how to forget the new weapon they got the one that shoots a rocket that mostly kill all of them HAHAHAH person-turqouise-waving its sooo funny to see them blowing themselves up to the sky while i enjoy the view from the heavy base. Well to be honest they barely have like what ? 1-2 max main barely useful weapons and like 3 max support weapons to make the game enjoyable for us. I know I know stratacrap is a bit of a problem but without it game will be so boring, yet i think our devs will nerf that in the future because sometimes they can kill up to 10+ or us and that is unacceptable. Just remember you can always upgrade your base to remove one stratagems from those fuckers. Well fellow automatons keep enjoying the game and i hope one of this days we finally get to Superearth and destroy everything!!

Hi Stylosa. I was wondering if you could help out with a game called Vampire the Masquerade Bloodhunt. It's a vampire battle royale that not a lot of people knew about due to lack of advertisement. I know it's a dead game but it's a game that a lot of people love and we don't want the servers to be turned off. it's a free to play game on PC and PS5 that doesn't have a finished cross play (PS5 can only team up PS5, PC with PC) it's a fun game if you give it a chance. Also the game doesn't use real money and it has a free battle pass.

This game is great but after you get everything including platinum trophy it falls off big time since there is no point in doing anything aside from some doo doo warbond stuff. Will rejoin the fight when the new enemies come.
I fully understand the allure of progression, but what ever happened to just playing a game because it's fun to play and not because you have to constantly be working towards unlocking something? No hate here. I'm not trying to say you're wrong for wanting a goal to work towards. Just making an observation I guess.
Just always been like that for me. Personal, work, gaming..needs progression. HD is super fun lvl 0-60 then you run out of content and game isn’t balanced enough to use all the items so there only 3 good builds if you want to be top tier. Let’s say samples..I won’t risk it all for an any sample since I have nothing to buy and maxed out on them as well. Game mechanic went from priority 1 to 0.

Its no wonder the guns feel bad to you. You can't hit anything. You ended that mission with a 45% accuracy. Meaning less half of your shot hit. The ones that did hit mostly armor. Im not sure if your unaware or just blatantly ignoring game mechanics. Your load out looks like a random grab bag of "oh these are strong I'll take these". The only actual synergy you have is the shield which does not make you invincible and makes your weapons sight worse. You have nothing that takes advantage of the weapons stun. Orbital Gas, gatling or airburst would have been a better choice. As for your 500kg, it probably hit the cliff above you because you failed to account for terrain when tossing it. Even if the cliff wasn't there the 500kg would have missed anyways because you threw it too short. No one bothers to learn its flight pattern. Just toss it and hope cuz 500kg is Meta and should destroy everything. I know some one is going to take offense at this, but I feel it must be said. You cant claim something is weak, trash or garbage when your own play is at fault. You spent half an hour wandering around a desert accomplishing very little while the rest of your team ghosted the mission. If we ever get a waste ammo or kill rocks major order we are set.
