  • Sia has been out for over 20 years. Writing for the majority of our commercial artists out today. I've read comments referring to Beyonce being a better singer. I have much doubt there. I commend a woman that has battled a father with DID, her having Bipolar disorder that keeps her out of social situations, a friend/companion dying. Battled her own drug addictions while making our commercial artists more rich and popular. She is pure genius and perfectly flawed

    • and then when Katy didn't know that sia offered Pretty hurts to her, they went and wrote double rainbow. one of the most beautiful tracks ever written. and you missed out sias own difficulties such as contemplating suicide

      @parasshah524@parasshah5248 жыл бұрын
    • So much ignorance in this comment. First of all, Beyoncé didn't "give her more money", Katy just didn't know about the offer until after Beyoncé recorded it already. Secondly, of all artists to pit against Sia you choose Beyoncé? Beyoncé is one of the most talented singers of this generation. She has much better technique and control than Sia. Sia is a great belter and sings with a lot of emotion, but she often strains and cracks which Beyoncé never does. Beyoncé also sings with ease even while running around the stage and performing choreography; Sia just stands there but often struggles to hit her own notes. I'm not trying to degrade anyone, but facts are facts. Beyoncé is the superior vocalist regardless of what Sia's personal background is. Coming from a bad past doesn't make you superior, and by the way, Sia has only written a total of 1 songs for Beyoncé.

  • When other people sing Titanium it sounds brave, bold, inspiring. When Sia sings it (live), it's all of the above, but also full of pain and melancholy. It's really intense in a way no other singer is really able to portray. It's really amazing.

    • Do people actually talk like this IRL? " brave ", " bold "?? That language has lost all meaning due to the woke shenanigans then we have to read silly comments like this when we just wanna enjoy a good artist's performance. While I agree that it's an uplifting and inspiring song with a catchy tune how is it brave or bold of a person just to sing this? I am not looking for an argument, I am genuinely just confused why the west attributes nonsensical adjectives to basic language.

      @UWG3@UWG37 ай бұрын
    • @@UWG3 it's just words I use to describe the non-tangible and subjective emotions I feel while listening to her performance. It's not that deep. Nothing to do with the west or "wokeness". Also this must be a translation issue because english is my second language.

      @marcosdiogenes9380@marcosdiogenes93807 ай бұрын
    • @@marcosdiogenes9380 Nope, not a translation issue. Your English is better than most native speakers. It doesn't matter what language you speak, bold and brave are not words thrown about willy nilly in ordinary conversation. They're power words and are used to convey something of note or importance. It comes off really simp-like and woke when a guy just throws words like that around.

  • She's one of us Aussies, and an incredible Singer to. She can do no wrong in Australia's eyes, loved her from the moment I ever heard her first sing and I've been a the biggest fan ever since. She could sing you the phone book and make it sound incredible. She has a special place in the hearts of all of us Aussies and she deserves every single accolade she gets, she's such a humble and incredibly talented person, to say that I'm a massive fan is one of biggest understatements. Keep doing what you are doing Sia, you have an amazing fan base here in Australia and in everybody's heart. You do us proud And yes I'm an extremely biased Aussie. ♥️♥️

    • This is true for the most part especially when it's your drama resulting in the inevitable world of self healing this can be . She is just a gem and nobody will ever that she holds, in my heart she has helped me to fulfill, I think most everyone can relate and create their own versions (without butchering) the song and it may captivate a whole new world to some musicians, I for one use her like a drug to cope etc. I am the first to call out someone on covers because I'm just who I am a, music snob like that. Sorry just unloaded some tmi as we all do, Whats important here is that Sia would want any and every one to enjoy her creations and just have a good time! Please no hate on this reply because we are all "together" and we need each other!) I could ramble forever but I won't. She has changed me a lot!
