Ngl, the shadow figure of miles actually made me nervous. I can just imagine myself in full shadow with glowing eyes, and id be terrified because thats the side of me with all my insecurities, my traumas, my anxiety, and even my anger all wrapped in a shadow of myself. And like how miles thought to try using his venom shock ability, it didnt do anything. His attacks are like a defense mechanism to cope stress in fight or flight. If i saw myself that way, i wouldn't understand what was going on and the sheer craziness would make me start punching. The animators seriously did a good job on this.

I’m like, a year older than Miles (16), and I have social anxiety, DPDR, and I’m lonely and suicidal. Telling someone I’m not ok is the worst thing I can do because when I told my mom I was suicidal when I was 13, she didn’t care and she just said “I won’t care that much if you died, I can always have another child”. Making my pain worse. I don’t have any friends I can talk to either. And since my brother is Gen A, he’s just going to say “womp womp”, so I can’t tell him either. Whenever I tell my mom I’m not ok she just laughs and says “there are people who have it worse than you”. She’s right, of course, but that doesn’t solve anything.
