RIP to all the flash games we’ve loved and lost. Gone but not forgotten.
They will be missed😢
RIP. Good news is a good portion has been archived from what I remember, there's been a project trying to restore flash games, don't know the name but I hope it's doing good. Also a way to re download flash I believe
@@gunkhead yep, Flashpoint Archive and some other groups/individuals have done amazing conservation work saving flash games and animations
@@gunkhead99% of the (non-online) games people cared about are archived
The games aren't gone, browsers aren't supporting flash by default. You've always been able to download and play flash games offline, unless there's some arbitrary restriction imposed by developers/publishers.
See the fact that Poptropica managed to get a god damn DS game is wild as hell.
the poptropica ds game being the same as the internet game was the craziest thing
@@diorcool5692wait seriously? What about all the clothing options and purchaseables? The super hero city? Big Nate? What was it like????
@@CaveDDECanemas far as the ingame purchasable, I think those were just removed. The superhero city and Big Nate may have been in the DS game but I could be mixing it up with the website? It’s pretty similar, just an offline version of the website basically (:
@@screenedat0m that's really cool! Makes me wanna go back and play the older versions. I miss being able to just jump on after a long day at school
7:13 Actually, since World's Hardest Game predates Dark Souls 1 by 3 years, it'd be more accurate to call Dark Souls the World's Hardest Game of Action RPGs.

I remember in my 5th grade math class if you finished your work early there were three computers and everyone raced to play cool math games. Fire boy and water girl, johnny upgrade, burger run, catch the candy, and run were all the most popular. I literally grinded duck life 3 every time i could, i was obsessed with it.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I remember one day, my school decided to ban cool math games because it wasn’t “educational” and we all ended up having to switch over to hooda math, before that eventually got banned too. As you can tell, my school hated fun.
1984
My school banned it as well. My childhood days are over.
Did you go to my school 😂
I actually discovered your channel through your Papa’s Games Lore video. *It’s all coming together.*
Me too!❤
Me three
Me four
Me five
Me six.
A Choopo PTSD flashback is not something I expected, but definitely needed. And I get it, Papa Louie is a *trip*.
the ultimate doom music makes it like 10x better lmao ...I love it when I find references to stuff I like in unexpected places lol...
For a moment I thought he was going to become Trollface
Honestly i feel like big tower tiny square is really underrated and its cool seeing it get acknowledged
Same
FR FR
Thank you
Damn i didnt know so many people would relate to this
My friend was playing it three days ago
The final battle against the Supreme Duck in the Duck Life game got me introduced to Domo-kun (or simply Domo), the famous Japanese mascot of the public broadcast, NHK. I never knew that the enemy in the game is mascot until watching the stop-motion Domo shorts.
I remember Domo merch and memes being everywhere in the 2000s and early 2010s, it’s a shame they’re only a product of the early internet nowadays.
2:15 thank you for acknowledging how amazing my mother is, she's a great doctor that's helped many people in my neighborhood
Unrelated, but your username got a chuckle out of me :)
Darn, can she help me too? /J
Someone finally remembers Wheely exists... That was my first grade experience and in 2nd everyone was trying to speedrun the 4th game. Also 3:13 I love how this meme pops up RIGHT as I'm replaying Planet Life for the third time. It's my yearly tradition now! (And there is Planet life Lore, but none outside of what happens in the story. It wraps up all it's plot holes, pretty literally for how you restart your run :P)
Agreed, Wheely was a core memory for everyone in the 1st grade! I played them all multiple times😂
The Wheely series is underrated, but I would like to mention about the Vehicle series, which the protagonists are the police car, an ambulance, and a fire truck.
Trying to remember the wheely games is like trying to remember a fever dream, it was a big part of my childhood though fs
Yeah,I would always replay the Wheely and Bob the Snail and the 3 Pandas games since they all had similar controls, their levels were fun too.
@@poweroffriendship2.0 i remember those weren't they russian? anyways yeah like all characters were all super mad or something and you had to push them off
Something I doubt anyone remembers is the Cool Math Games store. It was like their own Eshop but instead they just hosted some pretty cool games and let people play a demo and then the whole thing for real money. It’s where I found Ittle Dew 2 and Another Perspective. Genuinely miss that thing, even though I can probably find both games on steam.
12:53 yes, Cut The Rope has surprisingly extensive lore if you count the shorts
Ten minutes in and we finally have choopa have war "flash" back.
Lol
Nice one
I'm fairly certain that "There Is No Game" was released much earlier than 2020. You likely found the date for "There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension" which was a sequel. It's a great game... err... Non-game.
Yeah, There Is No Game definitely came out earlier than 2020
it came out 2015
When you mentioned Poptropica I got so excited. I definitely think it deserves its own video. Poptropica was one of my favorites to play in the computer lab.
same here! they always blocked it as a games website though :(
seeing the face get more & more concerned at the mention of papa's games is genuinely amazing lol
the bart bonte games (ball factory, sugar sugar (i think), the color puzzle games, maybe farafalla?, etc.) could probably be lumped together, they tend not to have stories but they’re worth a mention at least as a collective.
Gosh those were my favorites
Love how we come together to joke about shared experiences through Choopo. Faking doing math through CMG was a like kid’s introductory to hacking haha.
This is great and sad
@@iAmAllofMii but there is no game so there is no explication
some games that i loved as a kid (that you didn't mention) were orb, meeblings, ninja painter, ball factory, and sugar, sugar. I also was obsessed with papa's freezeria, run, and duck life. Coolmathgames is goated and all the soundtracks are incredible (especially orb and the world's hardest game) I also remember playing farafalla once and thinking it was cool, but I can't remember the plot
i played sugar, sugar so much! was looking for someone mentioning it
coolmath games is just the grand master of childhood nostalgia. I loved it so much
I never thought I would find another pre civilization Bronze Age enjoyer.
10/10 best game ngl
@@zobieman3009 yes
The lack of Ninja Painter and Factory Ball is a true crime
Ooo I played ninja painter too
I miss Coolmath, I remember playing papa's games, bloons, learn to fly, and duck life in classes when teachers gave us free time. I don't visit it any more because of Flash's discontinuation so I can't play any of the good games anymore.
They're slowly converting the flash games into html (I think it's html anyway) so that they're playable again
i'm glad your channel ended up being recommended to me! you're witty in a way i don't think i've seen before, your commentary is so fun to listen to, and i can't wait to watch more! sick ass video man
For some reason I was OBSESSED with Red Ball during my early days of elementary school. It was all I could think about for a while.
One of my favorite memories is playing Snail Bob on the family computer and figuring out the puzzles. Thank you for this video :)
Kinda surprised Coolmath hasn't considered making a fighting/kart crossover game with these characters on their site, though I'm sure these games have different rights. Also pls do a Cut The Rope video, there's tons of games and a long-running web series (the live-action and superhero seasons are my favorites).
Love the video man I think you should take another look at Planet Life because it starts as a simple charming idle game and over the course of the game turns into a weird fever dream and it is one of my favorite games in Cool math games
the Learn to Fly series is arguably still some of my favorite games. i complete it and the sequel like once per year lmfao.
So happy he mentioned wheely, one of my favorite flash games ever
I honestly loved this site when I was at school, buuuut I could never understand what any of the games had to do with maths
righttt
Congrats man 🎉 you deserve all 100k of us, thanks for all the hard work. Can't wait to see your vid on space chimps
Favorite one yet choopo! Keep up the great work
Loved the retrospective! I'm "marafrass", the developer of CoolmathGames The Game, and seeing the game I made together with the team at the site referred to as "the last major point in the timeline" was really nice. Keep up the good work!
Whoa 😮 thank you for creating cool things on this cool website ❤
One of my favourite cool math games was sticky Ninja, not sure if it’s still playable but I recommend checking it out.
I always loved the logic games - like Me and The Key, Factory Balls, 40 escape, etc. Would love a video about these!
I mainly played meeblings, bloon tower defense, various papa Louie games, duck life, gluey, bloxr and many more. Also has anyone played primary games as a kid? Its like cool math games but, they don't try to hide that it's not educational. Mainly had a lot of multiple player games (I can't think of the name exactly but like animal jam or frank town)
The Duck Life games were my favorites!
Oddly enough, the hidden memory this unlocked in me was not any of the games but the fact that chinchillas are a thing that exist
Fun fact: There is no game is actually the demo for the most unique popular indie game Wrong Dimension
I rediscovered my childhood games through your video, bravo! Now just need to see a lore video for funbrain games and my middle school online game experience will be complete.
Babe wake up Choopo uploded another video about something you haven’t thought about in years
Man, I can't believe he said Big Tower Tiny Square 2 is the Sequel to Big Tower Tiny Square.
Ikr
Binged the Papa's Games Lore and then you upload again! this channel makes me feel really nostalgic
Those haunting flashbacks to the papa's Pizzeria video was too relatable
What a really great video to celebrate for a such a great and gooberistic milestone. I’ve been noticing really that there’s a lack of a video on certain singing monsters, so maybe… just maybe… that video could be a possible new idea for the ol choopo thinkin machine? Great video nonetheless, just an idea, and congrats on 100K ❤️
I kinda always wondered like what kind of contract or agreement you sign to allow Coolmathgames to like use your OCs and games in their memes and promotional stuff. I'm sure it's nothing that big and the developers are okay with it but it's a thing I wonder sometimes.
Oh my gosh, you are hilarious. :D your content always picks Mr up when I'm feeling down and you make interesting video topics. Please don't stop, you're doing great! Xx
amazing video as always choopo! id love to maybe see a planet life lore video one day, that game carried me all last year through boring classes.
All my homies love when choopo uploads
I remember playing this as a kid but I hope flash gets revived
Congratulations for 100k my guy
Your videos make day. Happy 100,000 special 🎉🥳👏
Someone needs to do the bizarre lore of choopo
Maybe for 200k subs…
yes
He's gonna take you back to the past. And play the games we played at class. He had came back to review the games that our heads could've not steered. He had attacked the flash games that logic did not even interfere. He's the most nostalgic gamer in the world. He has played the games that are cursed. He has played Fireboy and Watergirl He's the something that rhymes with -erd.
Blud is the first guy to talk about wheely i am shedding tears of joy😂
You fill the hole Sam o’nella left in my heart… in fact you made a place of your own in there…
I'd love to see your take on Nitrome Their games were really fun 😄
Yes, that’d be amazing!
and than they decided that flashpoint would not be allowed to make their games work after the death of flash (flashpoint preserved 10s of thousands of games) and that they (nitrome) would convert them to html5, they converted like 4 games only, and none of the really good ones imo.
@@gamesandglory1648 I know you weren’t being literal when you said “4”, but they’ve actually converted 62 of their games. When was the last time you checked?
I’m in school now and cool math games is the only thing keeping me going.
dang you go to back school when its still august?
Yeah, it sucks lol
I mainly played Papa’s games, the Run series, sugar sugar and poptropica 😅 mainly flash games on there Yep your papa’s game lore videos is the reason I found your channel 😊
You know it’s good when the CoolMathGames Responds.
This was an amazing video! My faves were admist the sky and big towers so much fun throughout my childhood the day my school blocked when had a whole funeral for it and I think that was the only time the entire school agreed on something.
There was Coolmath Games, Funbrain and Poptropica, the holy trinity
Great vid as always, choopo!
Your content is awesome. I'd love to learn about the lore of Poptropica 🙏
YES PLEASE do make a poptropica video! It was the game my whole class used to play when I was a kid.
A large portion of my childhood was spent on gamefudge/ cool math games this is such a banger of a video so many memories
I am so glad someone mentioned admist the sky even if it was for 3 seconds, i played it a long time ago and almost forgot about it but it was so amazing especially for an flash platformer
for whatever reason all the papa’s games would absolutely demolish every school computer when i was a kid
happy 100k choop
Jumphobia was one of my favorites. During middle school, it was one of the main games I played in the library during lunch, alongside Papa's Cheeseria and There Is No Game. Still excited for its sequel to hit consoles
6:24 I loved playing that game years ago! 😂❤
20:20 I used to GRIND on Burrito Bison lol it was one of my favorites to play in school
3:21 You unlocked a hidden memory holy crap Also the Wheely games were the peak of storytelling to 5 year old me. Red Ball was also awesome. Basket and Ball always creeped me out with the design lol
Quick tip for Johnny Upgrade: when the boss is doing that volley of shots, don't jump around, just stand directly underneath them and follow them around and you'll avoid getting hit, jumping just moves the boss up, causing their bullets to be very jumbled and all over the place.
Papa’s games, duck life, and snail bob were some of my favorite games as a kid
It’s really nice visiting this website way back in elementary school! Memories! The best game of them all was There Is No Game.
I literally haven't been to the sight in years, but I think nows a good time to revisit for nostalgia
THIS VIDEO IS TOO GOOD MAN
SUPER NICE I didn't know about the Coolmathgames game and I hope they are able to add back castle tower defense back, was never able to beat the bonus map.
The return of louie's pizzaria Also I love the ligthning mc queen sidescroller
The game I use to play was a game called Dino run. Then suddenly one day it was gone and I looked for it endlessly until I found it on a random website and ahh I was happy again. It was a cute pixel art game of this yellow small Dino that you played as and your goal was to keep on running and avoid the Debri/upcoming disaster from the meteor that hit earth. The ending was always so cool. I love that game and forever will. I recommend people give it a look
I still hop on Coolmath games to this day and frankly it’s an absolute banger to this day
1:39 "THIS IS COOLMATH GAMES, NOT TINDER!" I never thought I would hear this sentence ever in my life.
god theres so much nostalgia in these flash games, i think i only watched the gameplay of these flash games thought
Globs of Doom DS music? You deserve MORE than a sub, my friend!
Glad your still making great video😁
Poptropica is probably the only game that you have mentioned that I actually played as a child.
Thanks for reminding me to play duck life again
1:52 No joke, I spent a solid chunk of one of my summers trying to figure out how to not die in this game and it’s sequels.
Wait it has sequels?
@@iexist1300 Yeah there is a sequel. It’s sent in a different area and plays pretty much the same minus a couple of new mechanics. And when I wrote the original comment I didn’t know that Bronze Age is basically a better version of the original Stone Age. So technically Bronze Age is in fact a sequel to Stone Age. Anyway if you care at all the developer, Clarus Victoria, sells an HD version of Bronze Age on steam along with a remastered version of Marble Age.
I fuckin loved Paint Ninja. I beat every level when i was in middle school. Best accomplishment of my life
I love how u brought up bronze age, i thought i was the only one that grinded that game on my school thinkpad
This was an awesome video reminding me of games I haven't played since middle school, but I need to know; did anyone else play the Home Sheep Home games or was it just me? Cause those were my favorites and they were actually decently challenging for young me
15:37 I’m so glad you put him on the video
My game pause to play was just added to coolmath so I’m glad people are still playing it!
Aw sweet, The Bizarre Lore of Baskin Robins? Can't wait to watch it.
You forgot to mention one important thing in the video, CMG pulled an SNL on us and MADE A FRICKIN MOVIE OUT OF ONE OF THEIR IPS!!! The movie was released a few months ago and was made by a little known entertainment called “Disney” and one of their super obscure animation studios called “PIXAR”. It’s called Elemental and it’s a gender-swapped animated film adaptation of Fireboy and Watergirl. It’s actually a great movie and dare I say one of the best movies of this year so far. Man, between Elemental, the Mario movie, the upcoming FNaF movie, the new DnD movie, the Barbie movie by Christopher Nolan, and the Robert J Oppenheimer movie by Greta Gerwig, 2023 has sure been a great year for movie adaptations of video games and toys! 😉
