    • @@flavius5722he put himself on the line to stop Joffrey from torturing her publicly in the throne room. No one else did it because they were afraid as Joffrey was already the king. He also refused to consummate the marriage until she wanted, gaining a lot of extra familiar tension with his father that was demanding him to do so and get her pregnant for obvious political reasons. PLUS extra mockery from the court because everyone knew how they didn’t sleep together not even once. AND the extra risk he took by threatening Joffrey on Tyrion’s wedding night when Joffrey went to take Sansa’s clothes off, clearly meaning to abuse this marriage tradition. Tyrion put himself on the line for Sansa, a girl everyone abused and looked down or was just overall omissive towards the abuse she suffered because of her hostage situation. Yes, considering all this context, Tyrion went against his own benefits to treat her right and to be kind to her. No one else had the courage to do so. Not only Joffrey was king but he was also a sadistic cruel person that already hated his uncle. Despite her young age and visual repulsive towards him, Sansa recognise that with time, that he was a decent man and he was the only one that protected her against Joffrey and further abuse at the court.

  • It's kind of ironic that Tywin was planning on doing the same to Cersei and you know she would have had a fit. It does make Cersei interesting considering how she didn't try to lie or soften the reality of Sansa's situation and status as a woman.

    @Ashbrash1998@Ashbrash199815 күн бұрын
    • I mean, it’s because she gets off on upsetting people. She got joy from the whole thing. When she had her own best seamstresses come make Sansa a beautiful ivory gown “now that she’s a woman with a woman’s body” and got Sansa all grateful for her generosity and excited for how pretty she’d look, when really it was Cersei’s way of sneakily making her wedding dress…she thought those things were funny. Just like when Loras got gravely injured taking Dragonstone and Cersei wanted to be the one to tell Margaery. She acted so sad and empathetic but she was loving every minute of it, even being able to taste her tears when she kissed her on the cheek. She also led Margaery to believe he was already dead for quite a while before changing her wording and then Margaery realized he was actually still alive and got so pissed at her. Cersei thought it was hysterical. Book Cersei is such an evil brat.
