  • I love visiting this cemetery. My grandmother, great grandmother & grandfather, great aunts & uncles and etc. are buried in this cemetery. We are all Native American. My husband and I go there once a year to put flowers on all of my relatives graves. We live 2 hours away. I can never get enough of this cemetery. So much history. I highly recommend people to visit this cemetery. If visiting, plan on spending a couple of hours. So glad that Paula and Eddie did a video there.🌹♥️

  • Thank you for showing us around Savannah. I enjoy these videos. This is a gorgeous cemetery! I enjoy watching you, Mrs Paula, because your sense of humor and way of talking reminds me so much of my late Granny. It's like getting to visit her when I watch your videos, especially ones like these where you casually show us around Savannah. Thank you❤️

  • My husband and I were married in Savannah in 2007 because of my obsession with you, Paula. We go back and visit frequently and we have been to this cemetery several times. We have never visited in the spring, though. We came to Savannah in July and it was hotter than hades, so now we go in the fall. We will have to plan a spring trio to see the Azaleas.

  • My family went on vacation in Savannah in 2009 for my uncle's 50th birthday. On the last evening there, we went to Bonaventure cemetery but it was closed for the night 😢 we saw so much of the rest of Savannah (and of course, we ate at your restaurant 😊) and it remains one of my favorite cities! I'd love to go back 💜

  • I have collected epitaphs from Victorian tombstones for over thirty years. My travels have taken me from the east to west coast with everything between. I have several journals full of the the most moving, poetic, heartfelt, tear jerking writings. I have to say Bonaventure Cemetery (Savannah) and Magnolia Cemetery ( in Charleston, S.C.) are two of my favorites.

  • I e been to Savannah and Bonaventure 7 times. My most favorite City in the world I have visited in all seasons. The best time to visit in my opinion is October or early March when the azaleas are in full bloom. The summer months are horrible for the heat and the humidity. But Savannah is beautiful. Bonaventure is beautiful and if you want to know the stories about some of the people laid to rest there you need to get a guide. It makes Bonaventure more special. The guide I love is Shannon Scott. He knows the stories of the lives and deaths of those that reside there.

It's not as well-kept as Bonaventure but is gorgeous, in a haunting way, as well. Juliet Low died of breast cancer and was buried in her girl scout uniform! I don't live in Savannah but have been to Bonaventure hundreds of times.

I have been by Savannah a couple of times on the way to Florida, but it never worked out for me to make it over that way.
