Love all the work on testing cars of interest! I have one minor suggestion, perhaps include the trap speeds as well! There is A LOT of info in trap speeds. It would let people have an idea of who is pulling the hardest by the time the cars cross the line. Like my car is a tuned Audi S4 and will beat most current muscle cars in a 0-60 or 1/4 mile for ET. However, I will be on the edge of being passed by a Mustang GT or Camaro SS since they’re trapping higher by the end. If we continue on they’d begin to leave me behind. Only a 392 Dodge and I would continue to trade blows after the 1/4 mile marker. So times alone are sufficient to illustrate what can happen in the real world. At best it’s another data point for us nerds to work with. Thanks for your work guys!
Alfa sounded really good and would've probably dominated the races if it had launch control. Should've probably done a video on the 3 racing without launch control to make it more fair.

I recently seen an Alpha Romeeo Quadrifoglio in person parked in front of a deli in Central NY. It was red wirh tan interior. I promise pictures and video do it no justice. It looked 100x better in person. It looked so exotic.

There are a couple of problems with the Giulia in this video. It doesn’t look like the transmission is being engaged in Sport-auto mode (by pressing the downshift paddle) and launch control can’t be activated in the Giulia unless you’re in Race mode and the shifter has been moved to manual mode.

I own both an Alfa Giulia Q4 and a 3 series ( 330i). To each his own .. but the Alfa’s gear box and shifting is crazy smooth . I have almost zero turbo lag . And the torque is instant , it’s a Visceral car ,I truly love it . The BMW is built more solid , it’s precise and the braking is better . That being said ....Giulia is just so amazingly enjoyable to just drive , anywhere and everywhere . Italians and Germans did good work .
On realibility I'd choose the Bmw, I have e46 330i with over 250 miles and still going strong, no major problems just need care and upgrades

According to data from the manufacturers, all of them do 0 to 100 in 3.9 s; Alpha with a maximum of 307 km / h, M4 280 km / h and RS5 250 km / h. It is obvious that a tough-armed clown flying the Alpha would never make it to the top. Put the three sports on the Nurburgring with professional drivers, then we’ll see Alfa detonating these German cars again.

It's not a real-life test, with the exception of the brake test. All these cars are great! Essentially, it comes down your preferences. My preference is I'd take all of them.

About the break test: Audi was ahead + had higher velocity and broke a bit later. The formula for Ek = m*V^2/2. So even 1 km/h affects a lot (nearly 3000 m^2/s^2 more if audi was driven at 113,654 km/h and other were driven at 112,654 km/h ~ 70 miles/h). Their weight influenced much less on the result (less than 100 kilos difference). And I have no clue about tyres. That’s why I think the result isn’t fair and I don’t say that Audi would have beaten others that way.

Audis are even more impressive with a simple engine mapping. The amount of bhp and torque they can produce is amazing and all easily controlable with the quattro.

Tune them and they are in the scrap yard 3yr later with gearbox blown, flywheel and bottom end churned up and the haldex doing mad stuff. Audi are the true scrap yard express cars of the modern age. Disposable junk. Dont be arguing back either as I'm a VAG head mechanic who done a bunk to scania marine about 2yr ago so they still pay me but I don't need to deal with them. I spent 3 decade fixing VAG cars and todays ones have nothing on older ones.

my take on this result is that you can easily find another 50hp in the audi so it also wins the rolling races too. giving quattro traction to the alfa is a whole different challenge..
