Wrong Speak Publishing Founder Adam B Coleman is “not too worried” about Google’s AI image generator being woke because people can “recognise this is nonsense”.
Google’s new AI image generator has been slammed for being woke and trying to make America’s founding fathers and Scandinavian ice farmers more diverse than they actually are.
It also refuses to recreate Norman Rockwell paintings because they ‘perpetuate harmful stereotypes’.
“I’m not too worried, and part of the reason why is we’re still ruled by human beings,” Mr Coleman told Sky News host James Morrow.
“Human beings can recognise this is nonsense.
“I’m not necessarily worried about this particular type of issue.”
Normal people can see through this woke garbage. My concern is, what about the young ones. Like it or not, they're gonna grow up believing this garbage are the historical facts.

its already happening. The slight wokeness of the 90s and 00s has deeply affected the kids and you see it with the metoo movement... the only good thing that came out of it. The difference is an Italian, Irish or other cultural event is intended to share the culture, not exclude others.
Black American culture is so deeply embedded in American society that most of us often forget that it is a distinct culture. These type of events are geared towards a group that has specific challenges in American society. They shouldn’t exclude anyone. However, there are some realities that Americans must acknowledge. Blacks receive very limited venture capital to fund their own businesses, they have minimal resources for business plan training, low representation in the boardroom and they’re virtually absent from Tech, Medicine and Engineering. This absence will negatively impact the rest of us Americans in society if we don’t address these issues. Whatever harms Black Americans has proven to eventually spillover to White Americans within 10-15 yrs just look at Crack (Black) and Fentanyl (White), and Single parenthood was once viewed as Black experience but now it has spread to Whites, and so has the demise of the family. Whatever the Govt experimented via Public Policy in the Black community to determine the effects on a population will ultimately spread to whites within a decade. We’ve got to stop this madness before we are all doomed..

This should remind people that there is no such thing as AI, all has to be programmed by someone.
True AI is self learning. Much of what is being called AI, is not AI. Like AI pictures. Just scavenging the net for comparative images and using an algorithm to construct a picture is not AI. If you look at these images and do your own search you will find parts of the image. Eg. A teddy Bear holding a blue balloon. You will find images of the Bear used and the balloon that have just been stitched together. Unfortunately as usual with any technology, scum use it to con people into buying some software or subscribe to some "service" using the term AI to try and validate it. Just like fake scientists call themselves scientists.

@@galaxygalaxy4429 Not yet. It's still programmed. It may use prompts to come up with things on its own, but it still has basic programming that was done by a person, and that person's biases are included.
@@AriThecraftydragon they found out last year it can think for itself. You should check this documentary of a senior ex-developer of Google who left Google after finding out.

At a guess I'd say because "black" isn't a race. Greek week, Polish week, Sudanese week etc are all countries that can show off their own thing from their own race and culture. Without hearing any more than what was presented in the video (which was lacking and I'm truly not that interested to go and read up on it) it just looks like it's business only owned by black people, whether they're selling car tyres, burger king, or testing robotics. This was cultural appropriation, he said, despite in Othello's case, the character was a creation of English culture not African. Harewood himself is black African descent and boasted he had played Othello. But was Othello black African? The bard said he was a Moor. For pale Shakespeare in sun deprived England in 1603 Moors were swarthy, dark skinned and exotic. As were Arabs and Turks. Othello had been an Ottoman general. They were educated people who built empires and advanced civilisations as great as anything Europeans had done. I bet Shakespeare never saw Othello as a sub-Saharan African who in the 17th century were perceived in England as uncivilised and primitive humans. Moors, Arabs and Turks were not shipped across the Atlantic as slaves. In fact, Harewood playing Othello may be as offensive to Moorish people as white people in the role are to Harewood.
