  • There should always be a plan t to relocate and assist poor people living in poor conditions around the city. Telling them to move to higher grounds during fatal flooding conditions like this is like telling them they're on their own and no one cares. Governments in Africa need to start prioritizing and investing millions to fight poverty, improve services for their citizens, especially the poor, and create effective Emergency Management Agencies to address needs in times of disasters. Otherwise, what's the point of having government and all its pomp and glamour profiling around.

  • I've spend the last two months in Mwanza, Tanzania doing environmental education projects at schools. That includes forming school clubs that build up tree nurseries and plant trees on school grounds. The shift in weather patterns here is astounding. We are already about one month late with the next generation of trees because, believe it or not, there was just too much rain this April to start a new batch.

  • According to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, deforestation in Tanzania causes a loss of 470,000 hectares of forest a year. Climate Change makes flooding worse, but *the root cause of these floods is deforestation.*

    @DemPilafian@DemPilafian17 күн бұрын
    • The root cause is a solar storm. Also happened in 1941. It's affecting the whole world, floods in south America, the US, Europe, etc.

  • 2 years ago they side they needed rain now they dont want rain make up your mines. most of Africa was in a drought and side they wanted rain 2 years ago now you want no rain make up your mines. you can have a drought or rain you cant have both. which due you want. all i did was alter the weather a bite to stop the drought from happenings. I can stop it from happening again but you will have droughts again. you side you needed rain 2 years ago show i gave you what you asked for i changed the settings on some of the earth's weather patterns its been mostly running on auto pilot i can charge it back but if i due Africa will have Droughts again. I charged it a bite show you would not have Droughts any more. it wont flood all the time just for the first few years tell the ground learns how to hold water again. its only post to drop 3 inch's of rain per each storm in Africa its what i set it up for if its dropping more then it should then some one used cloud seeding . it was only post to drop 3 inch's per 1/25 of a mile.
