On May 20, 2013, osteosarcoma (bone cancer) took the life of Zach Sobiech but his legacy will live on through the beacon of love and hope he delivered through infectious lyrics and memorable tunes that have imprinted on the minds and hearts of millions around the world.

  • my husband of 36 years was dying of colon cancer and in his last days I came across this video. I watched it over and over, wondering how his Mom was so strong and killing me each time I watched it. My husband died 3/9/14 and I still stop to watch this video to remember. The pain never stops.

    • Sadly the "clouds" movie was removed from disney+ because disney had money problems well that sucks because I actually liked and cried at movie😭 Looks like Disney did not care for the movie enough to keep it and that makes me mad😡 But he will still be missed 😢🙂

    • Zach had a beautiful soul, I believe his message was successful. I just watched his life and I'm still crying. God bless his family and friends, I feel I got to know his pain and life I may not have gone through the exact situation but my family isn't that far off. My mom and brother both died of Huntington's Disease, you can't catch it. It runs in the English bloodline.

  • My brother loved this song so much. He'd put it on repeat. He could play it the whole. On several counts i had to turn it off at night. Last night while he was playing the song 'clouds', I asked him, why do you like this song so much. And then he told him of Zachary's battle with Cancer and then he told me there was a movie too. I've watched quite a lot of interesting movies, but this one was special. I watched the movie today and I cried so bad. I couldnt even figure why i was crying! He was just so brave. He's shown me a much better way to live life....Several years after his passage.... On the 20th, I'll be dedicating my entire day to his remembrance. I downloaded all his songs so I can reminisce. Thank you so much Zachary David Sobiech

  • I chose this song to sing in my elementary talent show years ago, and this song helped me and my mother get through a lot of hard times. I come back every so often and I can't explain the immense respect and gratitude I have for Zach and the comfort this song provided me in some of my scariest times. I'm sure I'll be back again in all the years to come, thank you Zach.

  • Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 10:45 I finish the movie clouds. I loved it and I cried and found out about a wonderful guy who had the potential of a lifetime with such a beautiful voice. I would’ve love to have met you Zach fly high way higher 🕊️
