  • It's a remarkable work, but there are some things that somehow can't fit in my head. How could the bowmaker skip the tillering process, how is this construction even work? There is no glue that would fix the limbs and the handle. Also the gap between the limbs is on the back of the bow where the pulling tension effects. This should widen the gap between the limbs. But, somehow it performs nice and smooth.

  • 手際よく弓の形に仕上げていくのはやっぱり職人さんの技なんですね。弓を作ってるのは初めて見ましたが海外の方がKATANAを作ってるのに雰囲気が似ている感じがしました。 あとは工房（？）がキレイでいいですね。職人さんの工房は煤だったり削りカスだったりで傷や汚れがあるものですが、ここの工房はオフィスみたいな感じです。

  • beautiful work. interestingly, he shoots like that, bamboo is a universal thing from kitchen appliances to a real bow. I liked how it changes shape when heated, can it be bent into a spiral?

  • Here in Mississippi we have native wild cane, maybe 2" wide. We also have many 6 inch Asian Bamboo thriving as well.👍👍

  • 시위가 빨래줄 이라는게 코믹이네요.. 어릴때 대나무 3등분으로 갈라서 양쪽 사이드 부분을 맛대서 빨래줄 풀어서 얇은 줄로 꽁꽁 묶어서 양쪽 끝에 구멍 뚫어서 빨래줄 묶고 싸리나무 대 다듬어서 동네 친구들하고 과녁맞추기 하고 놀았었는데...그때 생각이 나네요...

  • Such nice work for bow making, you can see many many years of experience so many detail, grongratulations, thank you for sharing your work and knowldage. I see it so diferent compared to other ways of making bows, here you see perfect integration of materials, no invasive wood taking, this is Total Art !

  • 활에 문외한은 아니라고 생각했는데 죽궁이라고 하는 것이 각궁에 견주어 손색이 없는 정도로 만들어지고 있다는 사실을 몰랐네요....찾아보니 만드신 과정도 거의 고난의 역정이라고 할 정도로 대단한 열정을 가지고 만드셨네요. 자랑스럽습니다. 기회가 되면 구해서 쏴보고 싶네요....감사합니다...

    • 죽궁은 거의 장식용입니다. 실제로 쏘는용으로는 너무 약해요. 영상 마지막에 쏘는 장면 나오는데. 과녁이 바로 앞에 있죠.? 각궁 과녁 145미터에 비하면 턱없이 짧죠.

    • @@user-eu7xh6xt5p 유명한 영국장궁이 100미터 정도입니다만. 장력이 80키로 정도되는. 그냥 영상에 활 쏘는 장면 봐요. 과녁이 바로 앞에 있는데 무슨 100미터요? 게다가 직사도 아니고 위로 쏘는게 보이는데.

  • At 4:03 -- For safety, he cuts two notches first so that he won't have to glide the entire length of the bamboo piece through the blade, just holding one end as a jig.
