Albanese's voice campaign turns nasty

The appalling comments directed by Voice architects towards Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price and millions of Australians saying No are a window into the divisive, elitist nature of Albanese’s voice campaign.

      @bobboo101@bobboo1017 ай бұрын
    • @@bobboo101But, of course that's not what it is, is it? It's a constitutionally created advisory committee. It does not take a referendum or a change to the constitution to establish an advisory committee. Canada, Norway and New Zealand all have such a body and did not require a constitutional change to get there. Constitutions should not be changed unless absolutely necessary or unforeseeable legal consequences can be significant. Governments have sufficient power to create these bodies already, and as other countries demonstrate, when those advisory councils share bipartisan support they tend to endure. The real upset is that these projects are not desired by a majority of Australians, and this fact can usually be suppressed by politicians or the media establishment. The polls reveal how unconvincing the majority of Australians find the identitarian obsessions of the ruling classes.

    • @@indiathylane2158I should hope so. Have you stepped foot in a university recently? I had a lecturer say without a trace of irony, in full credulity, that the communist revolution was coming within the next five years. Every single one of them spouts it, ignoring the millions upon millions of deaths communism has directly caused worldwide, still blithely insisting "oh, but real communism has never been tried", as if the only flaw has been method of delivery and not that the ideology itself is extremely flawed. Almost everyone in the yes campaign is a devout Marxist. And it's not something I would have believed as either prevalent or a real threat until going back to university as a mature age student two years ago. Yes, there are Marxist "elites" trying to wrest control, and yes they do infiltrate our political parties and our universities. It's where the rise in woke has come from. The yes campaign is entirely emblematic of these serious issues, as it seeks to defame and discredit anyone with hesitations about the practicality of such a referendum as either stupid or a racist, as per Marcia Langton. Never mind the fact that the yes campaign is entirely dedicated to dividing Australians based on race and constitutionally enshrining this division so that it cannot be challenged going forward. This is standard Marxism and it's a greater problem than you are perhaps conceptualising.

Price gave a clear NO when asked if she thought any Indigenous people were suffering the negative impacts of colonisation. Such an answer was like a red rag to a bull from her well-known attackers Linda Burney, Historian Henry Reynolds, and the Guardians Lorena Allam Jacinta Price’s National Press Club address on the Voice was a ‘masterclass’ where Price clearly laid out why a YES Vote would cause further division in Australia. We've gone with majority rules for thousands of years. 51% No votes in 4 states means the referendum fails. You can post "so 49% of voters aren't important?", and it'll change not a thing. It's reality. I wouldn't presume to say where that 21% comes from. My assumption is from all over. Not predominantly one area. And that's _if_ my 79% figure is close to accurate. • The Tribesmen have never called for a divided Australia. But then the one voice we have not heard from is the tribal elders voices, let's hear them, all of them we can use interpreters. So far all we hear from are Politicians and academics with little more than a distant heritage and a claim over land rights that they actually have no claim to by virtue of their own European heritage. They want truth telling let's start right there. I'm a born and bred West Australian who has schooled with, worked with and worked in a Department that focussed a great deal on the special needs of Tribesmen in remote communities. I also have a native American heritage, my great grandfather fought at the Battle of Little Big Horn, he was a Teton Lakota, I'm not a racist, I get what having pride in heritage means. The Voice is not being sold as heritage. What we have is a fabricated claim by 940,000 people to being Aboriginie whilst ignoring the desperate needs of the remaining 44,000 tribal Aboriginies who share none of the limelight beyond show and tell, they are the only Aboriginie's. I watch our profoundly corrupt legacy media who no longer have any worth in our democracy shut people off from commenting as they work to ambush the no voice. It's not just comments on this American owned multinational platform, the censorship includes paying contractor's to silence opposing voices in all American owned platforms. By playing those games this government has signalled something beyond censorship, they have taken Morrison's dangerous April 2020 adventure in to censorship to a new level of controlling perceptions and that is the threshold of authoritarianism. That whole manipulating craftsmanship of thought must be soundly rejected and that requires a NO ! Now can we talk about something far more important and a topic that causes ones finger to point at the whole dragging out and absurdity of the Voice narrative as being nothing more than a media circus distraction. Since the rollout in April 2021 we have some 40,000 excess deaths and with that a 10.7% increase in deaths of 12 to 28 year olds, the later group more specifically males were the most vulnerable to Myocarditis. There has been a lot of research findings of late and many are confirming disturbing invitro studies data from as far back as June 2021. That's a lot of Australians dying and that number is increasing, we must get to the bottom of this urgently, it's our children.
