If you haven’t had black cod before, you really have to try it! She’s not kidding when she says it’s buttery. It must taste so good with the spicy braising liquid.
That radish was so tender with that method! I need to try this I have pretty much all the ingredients except the fish and radish and the Korean crushed/cracked pepper. This looks like it's good for cold winter days ahead!

The cod fish and the radish looked really soft and tender and it soaked up the seasonings very well too! It's yummy!😋😄
Brilliant way to cook the black cod on top of the radish which will absorb all those great fish and other flavours. Delicious and perfect for winter!

oh black cod is my favorite fish ever!! simmered with soy sauce, mirin, garlic ginger and scallion is my favorite but I’ll have to try this

I would use potato instead but there are umpteen substitutions that are close.
Daikon/mooli is the closest substitute. You can also use peeled kohlrabi!

Hello Miss Maangchi!!! I'm Eduard B. Miranda Jr. from the Philippines!!! I will Make Non-Spicy Korean Buldak with made from 40 pieces of KFC Wings, Drumsticks, and Thighs parts (Deboned) with mixed only Tomato Sauces, Red Pepper Paste, Corn Syrups, and most are all are "Mozzarella Cheese" in the top!!! Because KFC Wings, Drumsticks, and Thighs parts are very tasty and Unli-herbs of spices of KFC!!! So that's why we never mix Ginger, Garlic, Red Pepper Flakes, Soy Sauce, Grind Pepper, and more!!! That's my own version of Non-Spicy Korean Buldak!!! I love Korean Non-Spicy recipes!!!

I know I'm a disgrace, but how do I make this without the gochugaru and green Chile? I don't want my mouth to die and my tolerance for spicy is non-existent 😭. But I'll put all the other not spicy stuff in there! Someone send help 💔
Paprika powder and extra green onions? You can also use milder chilies like shishito or Anaheims.
