T&H also films and releases original interviews with iconic people who have experienced successes, while also persevering through life's highs and lows. We look forward to sharing more of these perspectives and insights.
Our hope with these videos is to push your thinking. As Alan Watts said “No one is more dangerously insane than one who is sane all the time: he is like a steel bridge without flexibility, and the order of his life is rigid and brittle.” - Alan Watts.

  • It’s insane that people are trying to tear him down. He’s done nothing but give himself to the world, sincerely. And people are trying to expose his illness and make it something else than it is. His psychology IS him. Jim IS his flaws, and his joy and sadness. He’s torn himself apart for our entertainment. Is that not enough?!?! He owes nothing to anybody. He only gave and never took.

  • I really needed to hear that today. As a broken man in my mid thirties dealing with depression, anxiety, loneliness, and now unemployment, I sometimes want to just jump off a cliff. But I know that I am not alone in the fight. Millions of other people feel the way I do, and the way that Mr. Carrey felt. It is engrained in our society that we need to be certain people or certain types of people. We try so hard to be the people that we think we need to be that we forget to be who we are. That causes feelings of disassociation and derealization and it only adds to the wall that divides us from our dreams. That feeling of hopelessness and despair continues to impair my ability to share my artistic talents with the world, out of fear of ridicule or rejection. When Mr. Carrey said "you are enough", that was the moment that utterly broke me. For so long, I have beleived that I would never be enough for anyone - a girlfriend, a wife, an employer. Recently, a friend of mine told me that I was enough, too. When we fully realize that we are truly meant to be who we were meant to be, it will be such an enlightening experience. I am enough. You are enough. Thank you, Jim.

    • Yeah... You are not alone. I've been struggling with depression for over a year ... When I got better my ex wife cheated on me and I had to let her go. My heart was shattered and the depression came back. Every day is a personal fight. Every day I want to end it all but then I think... Maybe if I can go through this day tomorrow it will be better. I just hope one day I will be happy even though I had lost hope in humanity already... Don't give up, friend

    • I felt like telling you this right now, at one point in my life because of my depression, anxiety, low self esteem, drugs i thought of suicide because i had so much grief but little later on Jesus showed up to me through many miracles for example i had dreams of things that happened or was said in the bible spot on and later on i started to read the bible for the first time in my life and i got to the chapters where i had the dreams about those verses and events that happened in the bible. And as i was going through the bible it felt so alive it was like God was directly speaking to me about my problems and my life and filled me with his presence and a peace within me that ive never felt before . It opened my mind and heart where now i could understand everything that i was questioning about this life. I was the worst sinner doing many evil things in my life, i know now that sin is what makes our soul be so empty and broken to the point we feel so miserable and hopeless and when i was in my lowest moment in life , when my heart humbled that is the moment where God rescues us. When we come to the point where our ego lefts us and humilty come into our hearts thats where you find Jesus. As the bible says that God stands against the pride and gives grace to the humble. And my favourite verse "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

    • I felt like that...genetic depression will do that. Depression, loneliness, hopelessness, borderline sooi-sidal thoughts. Then I was manipulated and discarded by a narcissistic woman, that threw me into a suffering I didn't know could exist. Everyday was existential pain and suffering. I was 30 when that extreme depression started. At 32 now and all of that negativity is completely gone, I am at total peace, again on a level I didn't know possible. What happened? I found God. God wants you to be you, and the best you you can be. I can not recommend finding God enough. If you'd like any advice or guidance, you need only ask. I want to help everyone that suffers like I used to find the real solution to fixing it. That solution is a relationship with the One that created your spirit in the first place. I wish you the best, blessings

    • @gavriilkremastiotis1914 Nothing is an illusion. Nothing when named becomes something... an image, feeling in oneself. Simmering in nothingness is the absence of not being able to acknowledge there is something. There is always something... that something is unique to the individual. Even a lided jar with the air removed has something in it... small particles called quarks intermittently pass into the jar... so an empty jar never really is empty. For me, depression is a reaction of not liking something or feeling that something is nothing, then experiencing the lack of power and perception to do anything about it... which eats at ones spirit, creating a very real experience of darkness, and in that darkness, frustration because the nothingness has taken hold and one is desperately grasping for that unique something knowing it is there, yet not being able to grasp it... to move toward something... a feeling of being broken. Nothing is Something. There is never really nothing. There is always something. In that, I find a thread of hope when in the darkness.

So I think you might as well play the most magnificent game you can while you're waiting. Because do you have anything better to do? Why not pick the best thing possible that you can do? Because you're more powerful than you think- way more powerful than you think. God only knows what you are in the final analysis. You're blind to your own weaknesses, but you're also blind to your own strengths. How far can you take that? If you stopped wasting time, and if you stopped lying and you oriented yourself to the highest possible good that you can conceive of and you committed to that. How much good could you do? Well, I would say- why don't you find out?

And you never work a day in your life :) No matter what it is, because you are doing what you love, you will excel at it, and be able to support yourself. You will be at the top of your craft. • This video really took me by surprise. A lot of the motivational/inspirational videos on KZhead tend to be fairly toxic and unhelpful, but Jim Carrey is somebody that truly understands what it means to exist, and that is that there is no meaning. We just do. We exist for no reason other than to exist, and the continuous search for self and purpose is frivolous, everything we need is within us, always has been, is right now and always will be. There doesn’t have to be meaning, the fact we are here, watching this video, reading/typing these comments, is a beautiful thing on it’s own. We exist. Over the years, I’ve learnt that those two words and three syllables are much more profound upon contemplation than they are when first hearing them.

Though he sounds in many interviews after his breakdown as a lunatic of prozac, No. Jim's journey explained in this interview is the most sincere, heart felt explanation of his behavioral descent. Many episodes in his life as in all of us that lead to that famous movie line quote, "I'm As Mad As Hell And I'm Not Going To Take It Any More!" Mr. Carrey working so hard to portray his role as Jim Carrey was compared to a v12 fuel injected supercar running at 214 miles per hour in blinding rain at the 24 hours of Le Mans "Until Literally The Wheels Fell Off!" I sacrificed my entire youth in the United States Navy and even served in Operation Desert Storm and saw things that I thought were very intense, but Mr. Carrey observed and experienced "Things" over his entire career that would cause even a (DEVGRU) Antiterrorism Task Force Special Warfare Operator to..........PAUSE. I adore Fun with Dick and Jane. Jim is great, an individual that is authentic, with all his truth and I love him like a friend that never judges me. Miss him, but understand. Grateful for him for his bits on 'In Living Color' too. Luv u JC 💓

  • It's when the truth hits you hard & that truth is visible through your eyes. Just like a splinter in your mind that bothers you. It's that seek of acceptance from the society & the constant questioning to yourself: "Am I good enough? Is this worth it after all?". It's like the whole universe wants your pure joy & smile to get wiped off your face & your entire existence. Then the most important question arises: "When this suffering will ever end?" & that's the moment of hitting rock bottom. That's the moment that makes you realise that you'll rise from your ashes like a phoenix. That you'll get back to that train, that's called "life" & you'll fulfill your purpose in this special journey that we're living in, because yes that's you that made all the difference since the very beginning. You're that sunbeam of light that appears even in the darkest of days. It's you! it's been always YOU! You just need to let go of that shield. To free your emotions. To embrace yourself to the fullest! Cause that's you. You're breathtaking ❤

  • I cant be the only person who broke down in tears, hearing these deep cutting truths and crying. Jim Carrey has saved us from ourselves: if we care to listen.

  • God, Jim Carey is such a beautiful person. Somebody with the courage to share his real vulnerabilities, whilst most resort to fear driven projection rather than face their true selves with honesty.
