I started criticising Israel on Facebook during their murderous Operation Cast Lead in 2008. After a number of years it slowly dawned on me, and my friends, that i had been blacklisted in the corporate world. It worked like this. Every very positive job interview process would suddenly and inexplicably come to an end when HR were at the final security check stage. In other words, they consulted their lists of blacklisted names. McCarthyism is alive and very, very well in our digital age. It's never been easier. No explanation, no transparency, no recourse. The result of this for me was going through a number of very difficult years raising my children, before my inability to pay my mortgage meant we were forced out of our home of 14 years.
Very sorry to hear this. It’s shocking and disgusting and this censorship and blacklisting now has been intensified. Thankfully we have this show and others. We have to all amplify people like Chris Hedges, to spread truth.

As a Palestinian American who lived in the USA for 43 years with a master's degree in economics I figured out that early on and preferred to be a free taxi driver rather than whatever you are talking about here. My concern is that while "Genocide" is an important part of this drama .. we should comprehend the motive behind why Israel is doing this to the Palestinians. From my limited POV .. it seems most people have bought into this idea that it was Hamas who attacked Israel on 10/7 .. it seems as much of a lie as saying that 9/11 was caused by Bin Laden in a cave on the other side of the world .. or saying that Iraq has WMD .. or that there is a dangerous virus afoot, masks work, or the Jab is safe and effective. Israel's de-fence on 10/7 was "asleep-on-duty" .. as there were 15 (?) places that were breeched .. and how did powered paragliders make it into the air .. when an Israeli helicopter is ready to go in 5 min. .. then to cover their asses for all the IDF bullets .. inside the dead Rave goers .. they admit to shooting their own. Do you really think that the MOSSAD is going to take credit for slaughtering their own people? So if you don't agree with a billionaires position, then you can encourage people to boycott them economically but that billionaire can't refuse to hire you because of your view. Please make this make sense either you believe that free-speech should not come with consequences or you do but they should be the same for everyone. If you can boycott, then certainly they can refuse to platform you or hire you because why should they let you use their technology or their company, and thereby enable you to harm them.

honestly, when a collage or campus of a diffrent country have the students and some staff descriminating against a group of people, that is a problem, descrimination over what is happening in another country is the same as descimination against people of color, or as lately trending, white people. it has no room or tolorence in a place where you go to study in preperation for your future life.

I see two issues that could be handled better in Chris' statements herein. Some Hammas tactics could be considered war crimes were they conducted by uniformed troops in a legally recognized war. However, when those same tactics are challenges to occupiers with practices of genocide, war crimes, and apartheid, terrorist tactics are a normal and expected and potentially lawful defense against military or police state occupiers. Same practices, far different legal meaning, depending on context. I grew up in the same era as Chris... in fact we were colleagues on two tiny newspapers long ago. Back then "anti-Semitism" was assumed to mean discrimination or oppressive actions against Jews, for being Jews, while the ADL wasn't an aggressive branding operation for Zionist crimes against humanity and a terrorist propaganda and funding scam to the extent and form it's become in recent years. However, a review of the history of UK dirty deals with bankers and Palestinains for Ottoman Empire war supports, Balfour Doctrine, and cultural anthropology of the mideast and Zionism and Judaism, reveals we were wrong to accept that meaning. Even Golda Meier is on record describing herself as a long time Palestinian, where most Semites existed as mostly Arab and some Jewish peoples, versus Sephardic and Ashkenazi (Germanic) Jews in other regions. To call those other Jews Semites is clearly wrong based on the facts, such that French bankers or London Zionist Rabbis plus their Christian nationalist and fascist conspirators, were in fact literally the real anti-Semites.
