Hey, Animal Planet, give this guy his own show!!
:) Thanks. However, not interested. I had a show on Animal Planet ("SuperFetch), and the BBC ("Who Let the Dog Out?"). I LOVE KZhead for so many reasons...worldwide distribution, ultimate creative control, and of course I own my own content. TV is not as good as what we are doing together as a community right here! Plus our numbers are far better here than on TV...so this is where we can make a bigger difference!
Zak George's Dog Training rEvolution m, I hadn't thought of those things. Well, I'm glad you're here at least. Now, do you have a video on pawing behavior? And how about a dog so fearful of The World outside the front door (and even sometimes outside the back door), that he is still not leash trained?
Will consider these topics! Thanks:)
hey ,if anyone else wants to learn about puppy training classes try Pycanta Puppy Trainer Protocol (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cousin got excellent success with it.

What I like most about this channel he works with untrained dogs

Yes! It is so much easier to understand the baby step involved when you actually see the shaping happen.
What I like is he knows to train without punishing or hurting it. It takes more patience to train a dog with love.
Our dog always barks at us when we try to watch tv so I tried the same tactic Zak uses when she's in the crate & he's talking to the camera. We turned on a show that we've seen before so it wasn't really one that we needed to hear & I kept the treats on the couch next to me where our dog couldn't get them. We started "watching" the show & every time he stopped barking, I quickly looked at him, said "yes, shhhh, quiet" and tossed him a treat. By the end of the 30 min episode he was laying quietly & not barking at all. We've continued practicing "shhhh, quiet" in other scenarios where he starts barking at us & he's doing great with almost no barking now. When he does start barking, he responds very well to our command for quiet & we're much less stressed, lol. Thanks for all the great videos, Zak! ^_^
This is how our first couple of days went, but then Sophie started extortion barking. I just don't know what to do now.
@@springdew9943 hey Stacey, our dog brought a pebble in from the yard once and dropped it on the coffee table. It was so cute we gave her a snack treat 😲. Now we hundreds of pebbles in the coffee table draw. She delivers a pebble and demands payment 😂😂😂

I have a Boxer Mix who is high energy. I got him at 8 weeks and I had no idea how challenging he would be. I actually thought about giving him up more than once but I knew I couldn't do that and live with myself. So I pushed on through and with the help of training videos like yours I think he has turned out to be an amazing dog and much loved member of my family. He is now almost 2 years old and he is awesome. He has made me a better person and I can't imagine life without him. Thank you for all you do to make us better dog parents.

That's very motivating, thanks for sharing your story. I'm working on my patience w our new pup we adopted. He's 4 months old, very energetic and loving, but we have a ten month old that I don't want to get startled or wake up at certain times. He's a good pup. He just needs some time, attention and technique I guess. Glad you kept you pup and all worked out for you!
Finally! A dog trainer that shows dogs acting normally! I love that he has dogs who are learning the process, not the perfect "this is how a trained dog looks" video!

The top thing I’ve learned it how QUICKLY you’re meant to reward the behaviour you want, giving little to no time for failure. Growing up it was always to wait and see if they genuinely understood, but with my new puppy I’ve been rewarding the behaviours I want to see as quickly as I can and I’m seeing amazing outcomes! She’s confused by the reward at first but catches on very quickly as to why she’s being rewarded.
Yeah same here. It's amazing how clever they are, they just don't have as long attention spans as we do and they live in the moment so if you're not quick they've already moved onto the next stimulus and action in their head. I got a 6 week old puppy and in 1 day I taught him his name and to always "come". It's amazing how quickly they learn when you listen to the advice of good dog trainers.
I think the biggest reason I subscribed your channel is you train dogs without yelling at them or not hitting them.......you just use food in the best possible ways......thank you for this new way to train my pup........keep making videos
Bro you have saved my life with this. My dog is a lil puppy but he’s the devil now he’s a lil sweetie
That dogs not very professional she's looking right into the camera

Barbara Von Traumer Herder dogs don’t have to herd, just as hunting dogs don’t have to hunt. Dogs don’t care what they do so long as they get sufficient physical and mental stimulation.
Duh he’s trying to train an untrained dog what did you expect I am not t trying to be rude but it’s just the truth
I found your channel when we brought home our GSP puppy. I love that you teach positive reinforcement training that works! Thank you for such great videos!
The most valuable thing I've learned from watching some of your videos is to do training walks as separate events from exercise walks, and to work incrementally. I appreciate that your videos work with dogs that are not yet perfect.
I just found your channel and I think I can say it's already one of my favorite youtube channels. I love that you care about the integrity of your sponsors, that you're compassionate in your work, and that you love what you're doing. Keep making the world a better place!
Wow, I love how you train the dog so patiently with treats. The change in the dog came so quickly.
Luckily my pup has grown up, it even irritates me watching this dog barking. Zak you really have so much patience.
I am loving all Zak's videos as I anxiously await getting a new pup after losing my dog of 17 years a few months ago!! I am trying to get myself in the "training a new puppy" mindset!
By watching your videos I have learned that you have to be patient with your dogs because getting frustrated or mad could possibly make things worse and even break your bond with your amazing puppy/dog.
I have learned so much from your videos! We have not had puppy for 30 years, so potty training, crate training, and everything else seemed daunting. Your positive, common sense approach to integrating our puppy into our home has been extremely helpful. I refer back to these videos frequently when our Corgi seems to be struggling with a behavior. I have discovered that her struggles are usually because I am needing the training. 😊 Thank you!
I hope you guys enjoy! Here's a playlist that will show you how to teach your dog the basics in order: kzhead.info/channel/PLMssKIjsDxXmMGypWsr8u-yGOUSoPoozb.html Thanks for subscribing!

I like your positive and relationship-oriented training methods. Your videos are just the right length with just enough information and demonstration. It's the perfect balance because I don't get bored, but I'm not left wondering how you did it. I also like that you use others' dogs so they aren't already trained the way other training videos often do.

love this trainer! So amazing that he does these videos so much information
Dude! great work! you must be super passionate about your stuff. Respect mate!
I really like Zak’s way of teaching. I agree that you have to train the dog’s thinking, not just deal with the behavior. I want a dog with lasting good behavior. For the first time in my life I have a dog who is difficult to calm down and therefore difficult to teach things like being quiet, settling down, not biting my hands when I dry her feet, and continued jumping up when she is told “Off.” She is very sweet and loving, but way too excitable in many situations. I plan to use Zak’s videos to help me teach her not to do these things. I don’t believe in hitting a dog or being rough with her to get her to obey, so Zak’s methods are wonderful. Thank you, Zak, for making your training lessons free so that everyone can have the chance to have a well-behaved dog without beating them into submission or yelling at them and scaring them into obeying. You truly care about everyone’s dogs.

Our Frenchie puppy LOVES your videos!!! Because he loves positive reinforcement and lots of treats! He is also very sensitive and even speaking sternly to him makes his ears droop and he looks so sad. POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT training is a perfect concept for him! I am sooooooo glad you are making videos for FREE - also I bought your new book based on the excellent, professional and entertaining videos. THANK YOU for providing inside-out training. He loves his drone!! : ) Great trainer with fabulous energy and enthusiasm. One of my all time favourites.
I REALLY love your videos!! It helps save ALOT of money on dog training classes and also lets me interact personally with my dog instead of having a teacher telling me what’s not to do and what to do. I also LOVE that you teach how to train without e-collars or chokers. I’m really appreciative of your videos. I have a dog that barks at my cats because he wants to smell and ply with them, he also barks outside when he wants to come in or when he hears people outside. He also barks when people ring or knock on the door. Your tricks have helped me train my dog.
