Nobody mentions how good this guys defence is, it only gets compromised when he starts to gas and his movements slow down, fresh McGregor is hard to hit , his head movement and guarding up is top level and he punishes with return shots if make mistake when he’s fresh.

His got good distance good timing. I think he has improved his cardio he will be way more lethal. I also do think he needs to do the surgery that Rogan did in his sinus to clear air blockages to fix his cardio for good. You can tell Conor starts breathing through his mouth fast, his sinus cavities get blocked fast as soon as he starts breathing fast.

I just think he’s not meant to be a high endurance guy regardless of surgery because of his genetics. Guys like Holloway, Ferguson and Diaz are cardio machines cause they aren’t explosive athletes like Conor, Yoel or Woodley. Explosive guys (generally) don’t have large gas tanks, but can change a fight in a blink of an eye.

No surgery will truly fix his cardio. Conor is built powerful like a sprinter. He is explosive in small bursts and that decreases as the seconds tick. You can give him cardio to survive the 5 rounds but the sting in his left, is lost after 2.

Watch Gunnar Nelson, Kyoji Horiguchi and Henry Cejudo (especially his fight against Wilson Reis) to see some great MMA karate (specifically the Goju-Ryu and Shotokan styles). The fun thing about Conor is that he seamlessly blends karate with boxing to make his own style.

Tony would absolutely wreck Conor his cardio, non stop pressure, sharp knife like elbows and world class ground game is too much for Conor plus Tony is a crafty wrestler himself all attributes that are Conors weakness. Nobody mentions how good this guys defence is, it only gets compromised when he starts to gas and his movements slow down, fresh McGregor is hard to hit , his head movement and guarding up is top level and he punishes with return shots if make mistake when he’s fresh.
His got good distance good timing. I think he has improved his cardio he will be way more lethal. I also do think he needs to do the surgery that Rogan did in his sinus to clear air blockages to fix his cardio for good. You can tell Conor starts breathing through his mouth fast, his sinus cavities get blocked fast as soon as he starts breathing fast.

@@kashin7961 Joe Rogan had cardio issues breathing problems always nose clogged, he did surgery and his oxygen intake improved big time and he no longer has major cardio issues.
I just think he’s not meant to be a high endurance guy regardless of surgery because of his genetics. Guys like Holloway, Ferguson and Diaz are cardio machines cause they aren’t explosive athletes like Conor, Yoel or Woodley. Explosive guys (generally) don’t have large gas tanks, but can change a fight in a blink of an eye.
No surgery will truly fix his cardio. Conor is built powerful like a sprinter. He is explosive in small bursts and that decreases as the seconds tick. You can give him cardio to survive the 5 rounds but the sting in his left, is lost after 2.
