  • I will never say anything about any fighter ever again.. the amount of tension and nerves in that locker room before he walked out was scary.. That would break alot of people.. so much respect for all these fighters.. crazy sport and what a crazy life.

    • +TheOlzee Their personality isn't what we were discussing.... Their composure and competitive spirit under immense pressure was. I don't particularly care for many fighters' personalities, but you won't hear me utter a single word calling their guts or willpower into question. In that sense, they are a breed apart. Respect that if nothing else.

  • This is single-handedly the most inspiring athlete/celebrity in the world today. If you don't take away any kind of inspiration from this man I don't think anything could ever motivate you. MMA aside, he is the embodiment of a true man in every way. If all you take away from Conor McGregor is that he is loud mouthed, skilled or boisterous then you are missing the picture. This man is loyal, dedicated, hard working, self motivated, brave, presentable, high self-esteemed, humble but never timid, masculine, respectful, focused, faithful to his craft & woman, kind, serious yet with a grand sense of humor. These are the things some of your fathers never taught you because they never had it within them themselves. The world is glued to Conor McGregor for a reason, it's not just for his one liners and fights. Everyone want to know what makes this man tick. Celebrities, who have achieved more than some of us and even Conor himself has, want to learn and take something from him. Whether they admit it or not even his peers in the UFC admire him. They don't make men like this anymore. That's all it boils down to. It's a fresh feeling to see a man actually stand for something and go out and earn his keep in the truest way there is - good old fashioned hand to hand.

  • This was the best behind the scenes/documentary clip I have ever seen, simply put.. Awesome...You know they don't sleep the night before and at most only a few hours. Then the whole day leading up to the fight has to be so mentally draining. Then you have to get there and suit up, run through some things and wait in anticipation for the biggest fight (financially and physically) of your career! Not to mention the 20 thousand people there LIVE and the millions (if not billions) watching across the world.... AMAZING. Thank you to #TheMac and Conor for sharing that moment with ufc fans. 💯

Like, it would be almost impossible to fall asleep and but lets say one does sleep and gets a good 4-5 hours but the other fighter only gets two hours, that would totally affect their performance no doubt for the fight.

  • Watched this video a fair few times over the last few months and one of the best things about it for me is at 5:24 when the guy lets them know it's go time. The first person to move is Conor. He makes sure he is the first one out of the door leading his team to battle.Despite knowing what was waiting for him in the ring, all the nerves and tension and what the the result of the fight ( and potential loss) meant at the time to him and his team. He'll be damned if he lets anyone else out that door before him. Despite all the trash talk he gives which has contributed so much to the image of McGregor all it takes is one brief second in this clip where you see exactly what he's made of! Bloody excellent video!

  • There was a moment in the 1st round where Nate thought he was getting loose in the engagement and started smiling and jumping around, but he then took an absolute ferocious slipped straight left and his entire face changed to "fuck fuck fuck". The Diaz's must have been born with some genetic mutation that gives their brain extra padding, because he can take some serious hits.

  • Lets be fair both fighters deserve respect but it was the right decision that Conor won, Nate did almost have him a couple times near the end but Conor was more precise and knocked him down three times, most of Nates hits were not rattling Conor or hurting him, but had it gone on longer Nate would of worn him down. Gave me goosebumps hearing Conor as he was walking on his crutches saying 'doubt me now, they all doubted me, doubt me now' all the work and focus he has put in for it to pay off must be an amazing and undefeatable feeling, hes now stronger than ever and gained that little more experience. Whoeever he fights next it will be very interesting.

Nate used his weight to his advantage when he could ( he had 4 real finishing moments ) but Connor had to much this time & made Nate fight his fight ( since connor ran @202 a lot more fighters have been running since lol ... Has anyone noticed ? ) It is a reset tactic no doubt, Nate won't give u that time for free :)

    • There wasn't one time in that fight where conor was rocked...at the ned of round three he took what diaz had to offer...when its the other way round and diazo gets hit, it's he has an iron jaw, when conor does the same thing he was close to being finished..Simply put. Conor won the fight fair and square..there is none of this if it had gone on longer blah blah..it didn't the fight was what it was and both men fought within those parameters with conor winning

      @69birdboy@69birdboy7 жыл бұрын
    • 69birdboy Hey I'm saying the same as you mate, I'm a big Conor fan and objectively I think you can't argue that he won the fight, as you said he rocked Nate a couple of times with that left hand and was more accurate and Nates punches were basically slaps BUT towards the end of the 5th Nate had him on the floor and was getting ready for ground and pound I know its not the point but if there was another round I'd be suprised if Conor could last, Not to say hes a worse fighter or anything because its fair enough, NAte just has better stamina, I think Conor could be the best ever but still, everyone fighter has their bad match and Nate is for Conor, at 155 though I think he'll have him.

      @MrMongoose221@MrMongoose2217 жыл бұрын
    • Sam to be honest mate if you watch the fight without commentary it's a great fight but you have Conor winning for some reason when he had success the commentary was quiet yet when Nate has success the commentary lose their minds especially in round 2 this misleads a lot of people as Conor slipped a lot of the shots and even round 3 Conor was winning till the last minute which gave Nate the round clearly don't get me wrong but the fight was a clear Conor win for me and I like Nate he didn't get enough credit for the first fight but casual fans who hate Conor think they are hard-core fans cause they hate him which is bs

Just before get too wild on the comments (there is also other footage of those 2 training together) Wallace tuned his style to closer resemble that of Nate Diaz almost perfectly. The rangey slapping hooks and the long straight almost lazy looking but effective jab are things that make Nate's style of boxing hard to deal with.
