Just two days after Rob Dyrdek "Kick Flipped" this very car at Magic Mountain California for his show Fantasy Factory on MTV...one of the stuntmen involved in setting up the ramps and car, James A Smith, thought it would be a fun challenge to pilot the brand new Chevrolet Sonic through this working fabrication shop. And not just any shop...this is JEM FX, Hollywoods number one big time Effects power house. Run by Elia Popov and his team of mega talented engineers and fabricators, JEM FX creates the practical magic we see on screen.
So when a stunt driver decides to throw it down by saying he can drive through the shop while everyone keeps working, plus not wreck the car that needs to go on display right after, there was a lot of pressure on James. It only took 2 takes and we locked this stunt in. Much to the amazement of everyone in the shop.

Everyone wants a Corvette, doing this in a front wheel drive car that Rob Dyrdek did the kick flip in three days prior with no repairs needed is a real testament to the durability of this entry level Chevy.

@paladain55 Yeah, the Sonic is not a muscle car but they jumped the test car 9 times and with a little work...it would still be a driver! Pretty tough little car. This car landed the Spiral jump and didn't even need an alignment!!!
