I got unbelievably lucky as a kid when i saw the most incredible opportunity, and seized the moment. I asked the cougars handler if i could please pat her, if she likes being patted? She did. She was an old sweetheart and purred. I have never understood why nobody else wanted to meet and pat her! Not asking, sure, cause they assumed it wasnt an option, but even after seeing me kneeling down patting a very affectionate, sweet cougar, nobody else wanted to meet and pat her? The sweet looks she gave her handler were full of love and trust. She purred and nuzzled him. ❤ Its one of my most precious memories, and im honored to have met and patted her. I hope one day you have an opportunity like that :) Ps: the big cat sanctuary has 2 baby snow leopards right now! They are yarko and leilas 3rd litter. Their older brother shen was quiet, cuddly, and shy as a kitten. The videos of him are justnthe cutest thing, too!

Sie gehören in die Natur und nirgendwo sonst hin. Die Menschen dort meinen es gut und verstehen überhaupt nicht, was sie diesen wundervollen Tieren antun.
