  • Hi Nick, just to clarify a few things brought up on your video; Firstly there is absolutely no urgency to complete that corner section, additional seating for another 152 away fans is very low on our list of priorities. Before the seating is installed we need to complete the wall cladding at that end (fill the gap between the existing cladding and the concrete terracing), we also need to install the rest of the safety wall between the terracing and access tunnel which will replace the temporary scaffold pole barrier. Secondly, the workers at the opposite end of the stand are part of the rope access team currently working on the underside roof cladding at that end of the stand. That cladding is roughly 90% complete now. Lastly, the road is far from completion mate, most of the work currently being done on the road is the installation of retractable bollards, more lighting and other traffic calming measures. In any event the road will not be opened for pedestrian and vehicle traffic until all the exterior work on the cladding and brickwork is completed and definitely not while there is still construction work still ongoing on the interior.

    • Hi bud. Thanks for the update. Any idea when the red boarding covering the hospitality windows will be removed? There was to be a lounge in the centre of the hospitality section called founders? I am guessing this will be an end of season completion ?

      @rossbutcher6895@rossbutcher689517 күн бұрын
    • @@rossbutcher6895 Everything suggests that the temporary red partition won't come down until the end of the season. Behind it there will be windows in front of the two hospitality sports bars, Founders and Brodies (Brodies is already in use) as well as two additional rows of seating and an additional section of wheelchair bays.

    • You forgot to add "find a new manager" to that list mate. Surely that is more important than a few pieces of missing cladding, or a few missing seats.

  • A great looking stand now. Final touches going on. Cladding edges being attached to finish off. Its nearly there Nick. Although it will be sad when you sign off. The end result will be a wonderful stadium. Great coverage throughout. Thanks very much

    • Liverpool need to invest on public transportation for that, but the owners (and maybe the council as well) are reluctant to do that.

  • Hi Nick, thank you for all your brilliant videos over the last couple of years. Top class as always!!! Nick, do you think the Anfield Road corporate sign will be erected and the red plywood boards will come down for the start of next season to reveal new sponsors of the new Anfield Road Stand? Big reveal for the start of season 2024- 25? Hopefully next season there will be news on plans to expand the SKD stand or Kop stand!!! Sixty two thousand supporters is fantastic but the club need to keep going expanding the SKD and Kop stand for the future demands for tickets. Nick, I’m sure you will be there to record the construction of both stands over the next five years for us overseas supporters. All your posts are always delivered professionally and I thank you from all your subscribers.

  • I was at the Sheffield Wednesday stadium that day as a 12 year old young lady we got tickets from school we was on the Swfc Kop which was the biggest KOP in England at that time And I most say it looked like a pitch invasion at the time but it was only when we all saw a ambulance from Southyorkshire When I started to fear the worst Our stadium at Hillsborough Stadium holded over 54k fans at that time but in my opinion the Liverpool fans should have had the Hillsborough stadium Kop and not the Nottingham Forest fans But the police man who was in charge didn’t know anything about football The police officer who did who was in charge the season before was off Because of armed Robbery what happened in Sheffield a couple of days before & that’s the truth But the Sheffield people let lot’s of Liverpool fans & people go in to their houses to use the telephone So please don’t ever think Bad things about the Sheffield people because if you do you have got it totally wrong The people of Liverpool need to understand this seriously It’s not helped our club at all £ we are gutted it’s happened at our place of worship Hillsborough Sheffield 👍👍👍👍👏💙💙💙 Takecare to all of you and the city of Liverpool from Sheffield 👍👍👍 SWFC Hillsborough 💙💙💙👍

    • What about the experienced match commander Brian Mole being replaced by David Duckenfield before the game due to Mole paying the price for the actions of two policemen who played a “prank” on s rookie cop, I won’t go into the details of the so called prank but it resulted in a highly experienced match commander who knew the area and ground well being replaced by Duckenfield who was nowhere near as fit for purpose to control events that day.
