Due to my advanced congestive heart failure, an Abbott HeartMate 3 LVAD was implanted into my heart in January 2017. The pump is inserted inside the left ventricle and connects it to the Aorta. The system helps my heart provide enough oxygenated blood across my body until a donor heart is available for a transplant.

En raison de mon insuffisance cardiaque congestive avancée, un système DAVG (LVAD) Abbott HeartMate 3 a été implanté dans mon cœur en janvier 2017. La pompe est insérée dans le ventricule gauche et le relie à l'aorte. Ainsi, le système aide mon cœur à fournir suffisamment de sang oxygéné dans tout mon corps en attendant qu'un cœur donneur soit disponible pour une transplantation.
