  • There is a statue similar to Christ the Redeemer in Eureka Springs, AR. There it's called Christ of the Ozarks. The statue in Rio is about 10 meters taller, but they do have almost the same pose.

  • 17:02 It was never meant for airships to dock on the tower. The wind gusts and unpredictability of the weather made docking safely unfeasible. It's a myth, but an excellent PR/Publicity stunt, though!

  • The dirigible docking station of the Empire State Building never actually had an airship docked to it, but they did try an approach once. The airship approached and backed away several times due to the air currents swirling around the building. Then, the airship did something that the ESB designers didn't foresee. The airship dropped ballast water, drenching pedestrians for blocks.

    • I have a small adventure in high mountains. In California, USA, a train runs from Sacramento to Reno, Nevada. The trip is about two hours, and the second half runs through the Sierra Nevada's, which are young, high mountains. The track clings to the side of immense, sheer rock mountainside. Sometimes the train goes through tunnels. The train, run by Amtrak, should contain a car called the "observation car" which is mostly glass, the ceiling and halfway down are windows. Perfect seat to see the incredible mountains. I hope you get to see everything you want to see. You have wonderful dreams. Blessings upon you from your deity.
