Do not try this at home!! or at any where else!!
We had a really busy week so I weren't able to solve all problems related to the FULL MAYHEM :D But next week doesn't have anything else going on than just pressing shit and playing with our new friend BOB the BOT!
Bot Bob No Pants. 🤔
wait what? Im expected there? ;)
Who is the new girl did you get divorced
That pipe looks exactly like a wax toilet ring seal
This is SOOOOOOOOO E X C I T I N G 🎉🎉🎉
It would be interesting to have a thermal camera so you can see the temp change as items are being crushed.
100% agree! Would be very cool, especially when metals start to change appearance.
Agreed
Yessss brilliant
Especially when there are sparks 😮
I think this has been the most requested thing in comments that I have seen in a lot of video comments
8:00 "so it doesnt move the whole goddamn earth" LOL, I love how you explain shit :)
I'm in tears that caught me so off guard
Two major Earthquakes this week... that is one powerful press 🙂
If it is really good... it should scare the Hell out of you. SR-71 and Warthog, SpaceX vs. NASA; fuel-air bombs, 208 billion MOSFETs in Nvidia's GB200 Grace Blackwell? 8.5” on a single crystal side silicon: the Cerebras Wafer-Scale Engine (WSE) has 2.6 trillion transistors, summing to 850,000 AI-optimized processing units. Borrow Niagara Falls to cool it...and power it.
7:40 is a more appropriate time stamp. 8:00 is past the actual comment, had to search around for the quoted comment.
@@CapStar362 guess the laughing made my estimate go off a bit
"Pushing our luck." (And scaring the neighbor's cat.) 🤣🙀
More like “pressing” his luck…eh? Eh??
This is classic content that I crave. Only thing missing is one of Anni's dangerous animals.
We must deal with it...
We want extra content to returnnn!!!
I had forgot about dealing with dangerous animals.
hana is not anna right??
long time not being around .. anna changed al lot!!
Haven't been around in a while, probably about a year. I'm amazed how far your English has come since you started. Happy to see the channel thriving!
I actually feel bad for the bearing. I hope it will at least take out some lights and make some decent craters in the bunker wall.
That poor bearing was looking at it sat before the unwrapping and then it turns out it's sperical, seems such a waste must be super expensive like thousands
So much shrapnel with that barring.
@johngibson3837 We use a spherical bearing similar in size to the one shown in the video at work. The one we use goes on the drive end of a 3MW generator in a wind turbine. They cost us $5500 per bearing. Takes 3 guys almost 2 full days to replace it.
It truly is a thing of beauty, a joy forever, but soon, we must deal with it.
@@leadboots72 thanks mate didn't think they'd come cheap, is that done on ground or up, knew I hadn't spelt spherical correct (bit dyslexic)
The roller bearing too nice to crush. So beautiful.
We need to start a "Save the bearing!" campaign.
A lovely piece of engineering, but the crush will be a better more spectacular fate than the one it was saved from where it's just sitting on a shelf gathering dust.
@@davidg3944 Yes! They could do a give-away in a raffle.
That makes it even better!
@@Roger__Wilco i like to imagine its been sitting there for years with no one needing it. Then an hour after Lauri came to get it, a guy walks in and asks for that specific bearing.
I think it would be interesting to have a thermal camera showing just how hot items can get while getting crushed.
The air escaping because it's airtight is impressive! I wonder how strong the steel doughnut is! 😅
Metal to metal seal makes it impossible for any gas to escape ever, funny to see that on steel on steel instead of copper :>
Work-hardened! After it cools it will have a bad attitude toward further deformation unless annealed.
Teethshatteringly I suppose?
I was thinking that maybe they could try crushing the double doughnut sideway like a bearing ring. Maybe soak it in liquid nitrogen first for extra shrapnel?
@@phonotical So hold, please.
At 5:00 it's a lovely shape for a vase or a lamp base. You could make stuff like that to sell at crafts fairs (or to your subscribers).
I would love to have a tool that I could pull out of my box when I’m in the shop that is crushed in a way only a 300 ton press could possibly crush it. Like a big wrench!? Just as a joke for the people around me! Or even better to leave a flattened wrench in a friend’s toolbox! Like a cartoon flattened wrench. 😂
We use spring isolation mounts for Large HVAC Equipment in the US. They are sized according to your equipment weight. Those mounts would allow the press to move and not transfer the hard shots into the ground. Is it possible to mount the control panel outside the bunker to protect it even more. Thanks for the Videos. I would hate to have to buy those bearings, they look extremely expensive.
I was going to suggest springs. I've seen them used on some large equipment and they would probably be ideal for the press.
From what they were saying I'm guessing its inventory reclaimed from closed industrial plants, the 24130 CK 30 might be an obsolete designation. The current SKF 24130 CCK30 goes for $5000.00 on Motion Industries website.
They are also sold in the Nordic countries. Extremely expensive but I assume ice installation is included.
They are used in NORAD as well. The entire bunker complex is suspended on heavy springs within caves in the moutain. It supposedly withstands a direct hit.
@@divemonkeys Motion Ind. is pretty expensive, other sources have that bearing for half the price. But the one they unwrapped seems higher precision than the 24130, so likely even more expensive. I don't think I can bear to watch it get crushed...
The giant metal ring with the enormous bearings that slide out sideways is just pure rule of cool. Like, I would play with that thing constantly if I had perhaps a smaller version on my desk. Love y'all's new kit, the hard work you've put it seems to really be paying off. :)
A high-end fidget spinner
Google search "self aligning bearing" 1st hit (for me) is a 10mm inside, 30mm outside, by 9mm thick one for £2-49.....
It's a spherical bearing, the inner race doesn't come out of the housing but it allows the shaft through the centre to pivot a little in use.
@@robertsneddon731 Thanks! I like it :)
@@charliesullivan4304 I mean I'm autistic and ADHD so that actually does sound right up my alley. I've got at least a dozen lol, the metal ones are fantastic little sensory toys.

What happened to the lady with the red hair ?

Nice to see you painted the ceiling white!
That roller bearing is almost too beautiful to destroy.
Your playground is turning out so great! I look forward to MORE content! Thanks y'all!
The way the press crushed that thick pipe like it was a marshmallow was crazy to see. ELECTRICIAN is the person you need to contact to do electrical work in your shop.

I like the way she says "Hiii" 😎
It just keeps getting greater and greater.
I’m constantly amazed how much you are investing into the channel. Excellent work man
Quick suggestion when crushing the roll bearings - instead of crushing them from the outside/top of the bearing housing (which is not the force direction it meant to support), use 2 of the same size roll bearings, with a fitting rod between/through them. then crush the middle of the rod (which will transfer the force down to the ball bearings within the roll bearings), until something happens. for suspense, the rod can be of thicker and thicker walls, up to solid steel (of short length removing as much as possible the rod from bending/breaking).
I like the detail of the KONE-logo! In Norwegian that is the literal word for wife🥰😅
Your show is incredibly entertaining! I can't even guess at how much cost is involved in your production, but I for one sure appreciate it!
Nice lathe work, made the tube air tight!!
Which one do we want to see first? EVERYTHING. I'm not so sure about the screen capture. The current camera view of it gives it great authenticity. Especially with the addition of the data graph being completely digital. Paras kanava ikinä! With love from Suomesta! Mielettömän hienot upgreidit!
YOU'RE Doing Great - Great Content - Thanks...
I've been loving all the videos with this new machine!
we are all grateful to you as well Ray, and of course to your family and your employees for bringing the family feel to your channel and for the content. it is certainly one of the best channels on KZhead because of this. wishing you all the best from all your fans over here in the UK.
Bring back extra content!!!! I miss you guys dealing with the clay sculptures!
I wanna see Wax Candles and Orange Peels through the tiny nozzle at 300 Tons like the old video
That was anna's thing so its gone
@@lucky43113just saw the new video on beyond the press so it makes sense now
Take your time ❤. Be safe and keep equipment safe too. Love you lots. ❤
Thank you for displaying the pressure data!
You’re both amazing! I’m watching your videos in years!! Furthermore, I love your voice! So recognisable!!! Keep up the good job!
Love the digit force scal in the videos nice touch
I love the new setup.
i love the way you talk
Sharp uniforms in the opening shot! And yay for eye protection!
Happy to see improvements.
Still love the Hüdrolik press after so many years 😊
You are also almost to 10 million subs! Last time I noticed you were at about 2 million!
Ok that first pipe crush looks awesome hope you will sell these
The new press is very cool! Crush that big bearing next please.👍🏻
Always enjoyable everybody involved has put a lot of work into bunker and press it will all pay off be safe always
Always love your antics 😂❤ You guys have the ultimate tensile testing setup!
That pipe squishing was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. You could chrome plate those and sell them as art 😂.
Yesss iv been waiting for another video, idk how but this has quickly become my favorite channel! Keep the content coming!
This channel is perfect 'food' for the young side of my destructive brain.. I should have made a career in the demolition business.. This channel never gets old! Thank you!!!
as a fancy coffee enjoyer, I'm definitely looking forward to the world's finest pressed coffee!
We've been waiting!!
You should sell what was remaining after crushing things. I believe a lot of viewers would buy such souvenirs 😃
Excellent content Always interesting to see how different materials react to that kind of pressure. Still can't get my head around the power of hydrologics.
You did a great job making the tube have parallel surfaces. It was fun to watch the steel 'fart'. Your bunker is looking great!
Hello there from Halifax 😊
Lamp killing asteroid lol😂
That enormous bearing is really cool. I was not expecting the interior to rotate outwards as well as spin
luv you both, things are moving forward & and it's a lot of fun going with you. I can't wait to see what you Blast into Shrapnel next LOL !!...
You 2 are my favorite Finish persons, besides Simo Häyhä.
Damn that new press is strong!
I'm looking at those bearings and I'm already terrified to watch
In areas that have earthquakes, they use devices called earthquake dampers. I have seen them used in building construction and factories under heavy machinery like your press. You might be able to use something like that to mitigate the seismic vibrations your neighbors are feeling.
Watching your channel is just one WTF moment after another. Love it
Thats insane! the amount of strenth to collapse a pipe that size is crazy
If you had stopped it at 5:45. That would be a great pen & pencil holder. Great video.
Those bearings look great (as bearings)! Also please don't just let Annie take over!
Very nice sharing ❤❤❤
Crushing the competition 🤪
Looking forward to that bearing :)
2:43 Kappa lol we're so obsessed with crushing stuff with incredible weight.
That’s going to be so cool hanging a camera bot from the ceiling!! I think it would be cool to have sacrificial replaceable plexiglass in front of the polycarbonate on cameras so that if something does hit it then it will break on purpose for a cool camera hit effect! Like an in your face big smash effect! Never thought this channel could get any cooler but it is!
You can use hard rubber floor mat,or horse stall mats to help with the vibrational noises.
Those robots are really cool to watch work and operate them
We use those safety light curtains in industrial machinery. Mount the curtain inside of piece of angle iron so that there is not a direct line between the plastic cover of the light curtain and the projectiles flying.
I will be honest Lauri - about a week ago when I laid in my sofa the table beside me shook so bad my coffee cup tipped over. Must have been an afterquake following that hammer crush 👍
My horse refuses to go back outside now. And I thought it was bad before when the dog wouldn’t give me a minute to use the bathroom alone. You should see all of us in one little bathroom. All because of a hammer. 😂
you should crush different engine components with the new press, would be very interesting to see.
Strangely/oddly satisfying ❤
Nice.
coffee part 2 is pretty hype, but idk that huge bearing item looks pretty insane.
The pipe crunching is a new side hustle, making roller coaster wheels. 😂
could be fun to see the footage with a thermal camera too to see how the different items generate heat during the process. also instead of the rubber mats then you can try to contact some places that sell heavy duty or truck tires. often the producents send out flat pieces with the tire pattern on as display examples. would be some good solid shoes for the machine.
Would it be possible to swap the light sensors out for a cable or pressure pad sensors? I used to run a cnc machine and had issues with small pieces of mdf tripping the light sensors so we switched to a cable style sensor and eventually pressure pads.
I really thought it will explode! Impressive!
We all have our favourite corner store. Can’t wait for the piston to go pop!
i like how this channel went from lets crush stuff for fun to we have a robot arm to move a camera to see us crush stuff. im here for that.
I'm wondering if some sort of seismic isolator would help with the press jumping. I'm thinking the type with the rubber and metal laminations sandwiched between two steel plates.
The next upgrade will be water cooling for the ceiling because of the heat generated by the lights😂 look forward to future videos, cheers from Canada
Scary power!! and 75C? That' hot!
Maybe put the press on hockey pucks under the press feet, then use stiff springs above the feet and then use bolts to hold things in place, with limited movement.
Holy shit that was nice to watch
I'd asked a few times a couple of years ago that it would be interesting in getting a seismologist to measure how far the vibrations from the press could be felt. It may be further than you'd think.
There's actually some pretty cool science/physics happening when a tube like that gets crushed.
Looks like a thermal camera should be a nice addition when crushing these pipes.
Hey guys! I'd like to see you all crush a tungsten cube with your new press! Keep up the great work guys!
I love you guys
Hi Hanna!
Ruotsalainen says "ball pääring first, perkele" 😘
for the mounting bolt I would use a bolt with a large spring between the bolt and the press so if it jumps up it first has to go against the spring force as for how much force the spring should have....I guess something like a spring rate of 200N/mm at a preload of 50% with a spring length of about 100mm should do for the fastening springs, that should protect anchor bolts, but also requires pretty strong anchors to begin with, so I'm not sure if that's feasable maybe put a larger number of weaker springs underneath the press to increase the area too, altho solid rubber mats may do the trick too, but you need to pay attention to the aging of the rubber
Rubber hockey mats would work great I think!
For the robot you could attach a long bar or something with a pointed end so you can make a tool center point at some point on the press so whenever you move the robot with a camera on it, the thing your crushing is at the center of the camera view.
Cheers 👍💪✌
Always a like for a Teisko t shirt 👍🏻
